I've read David Deangelo, Mystery, Tiffany Taylor, Ross Jeffries, and Neil Strauss.

This was the absolute best of all of these authors by far. Yes it had a few grammatical errors but who cares. I'm trying to learn how to meet women not how to speak English...and as far as meeting women goes this guy has the best data, and that is all that really counts.

It is not a bunch of memorized lines like most of the other guys, it is based on understanding different personalities and different situations and doing the appropriate thing for the personality and situation.

I had some minor success with Deangelo's stuff Approaching Women and Starting Conversations DVD Program by David DeAngelo and no success with the PUA guys - Strauss The Game: Penetrating the Secret Society of Pickup Artists and Mystery The Mystery Method: How to Get Beautiful Women Into Bed - because their approach just wasn't me. I don't want to be a pick up artist, I just want to be able to meet women.

David Deangelo's books help (I would recommend them) but he does not give as deep an understanding of how all the attraction variables work as Mr. L Rx does. Plus Mr. L.Rx goes into relationships and how to keep a woman you like after you get her.

All and all the is the best book on the subject available. All the women I have met as a result of applying this don't see me as some kind of sleezy pick-up artist, they see me as a "cool guy" who just seems to get along well with women and people in general. That is the way I want to be seen. If you want to understand women and actually be successful at meeting women and establishing a relationship this is a must buy.

Well this has been without doubt the best $31 I have ever spent in my entire life. This book absolutely changed my life. Nothing in my life that I have ever read has had such a life changing impact on me so quickly. If you want to learn how to meet and relate to women, do yourself a favor and get this book.

I bought this book a number of months ago on Amazon but didn't get around to reading it until lately. Actually I started reading it, got turned off by something in the first few pages and put it down...Meanwhile a friend gave me "Double Your Dating" by David Deangelo and I bought "The Mystery Method" and "The Game" in a used book store.

I met a girl as a result of Denagleo's book, even had sex. However, she wasn't my type and it didn't last long.

Mystery's and Strauss books while interesting were pretty useless to me. Perhaps if I had read them before I read Deangelo they might have been more useful. As it is they didn't get me anywhere. They didn't improve on anything Deangelo wrote. I think they appeal more to guys who want to be pick up artist. I just want a girlfriend. So then I finally got back to reading Dating To Relating - From A To Z.

The second time I started reading it, I couldn't even remember why I was turned off the first time. ( I now think it was the grammar factor that several other people have mentioned.) But this time, after having read the other guys books, within minutes I realized Mr. L. Rx really knew what he was talking about.

The biggest problem I had with the other guru's books is that they all treated women as if there was only one type of women, and one way to approach them. I really didn't feel comfortable being "cocky and funny" and the various other things that these gurus wanted me to do.

Mr.L. Rx's style is way beyond some fabricated approach. He is the only one who points out that different women have different personalities and require different approaches. And he is the only one that gives you different ways to approach different types of women.

With Mr. L. Rx's book I actually achieved an understanding of interpersonal relationships and how to be comfortable approaching any woman while still being "me." Better yet I learned how to approach the type of women that I was interested in - a smart classy woman that basically would laugh at me when I used the Deangelo, Mystery, and Strauss approaches.

Using Mr. L. Rx's techniques made meeting women natural - not a strain. Within a week of reading his book, I had met and was dating four new women. And since it usually takes me about two years to meet and date one woman, this was quite an accomplishment. For the first time in my life I felt free of inferiorities and self-deprecation.

Best of all, all four of the women really liked me and said I wasn't like other guys. Almost exactly the words Mr. L. Rx said they would say in the book. I wasn't having to act like some jerk to impress them. I was just being me, and for the first time in my life I had the problem of deciding who I liked the best and who I wanted to continue seeing the most. Nor was I having to lie or hide my intentions from anyone - they all know I am dating other women.

I can't say enough about this book. Again it has changed my life. This is the true technology of how to meet and relate to women. None of the other books even come close.

If there are some grammatical oddities don't be deterred by them. The knowledge this book imparts is way more important than how it says it. If you want to learn how to meet and relate to women and still be yourself - not some pick up artist jerk - do yourself a favor and get this book.

And if you do want to be some pick up artist jerk. Then this book will still work better for you than the others. It will make you more of a pick up artist and less of a jerk.

Review of Dating to Relating...


I am a first time reader of any type of dating book. I was married for 21 years but now find myself single and out of touch with the dating scene. I always thought that I was a hot item but my methods that once worked 20 years ago are, well, lame.

I discovered after reading this book that my approach was indeed exactly the same as what Mr. L. Rx describes as "dating gurus". I was applying specific strategic approaches to all women. My strategy was similar to throwing 20 darts at a wall with the hope that one would hit a balloon. It worked but I never got the balloon that I wanted and once I hit it, I couldn't keep it. I needed a better way of collecting balloons, not a very professional analogy and possible even a bad one, but I am not a professional.

Mr. L. Rx. Introduces the reader to what he defines as his technology approach to dating and relating. He discusses in depth using excellent examples from his life to explain the difference between "dating gurus" that simply apply dating strategy to all women as if they are all made from one mold. Anyone with any history with women know that they are indeed like snowflakes, no two are the same, and that any effective approach to dating and relating with them must be scientifically methodical and individualized. We have come a long way since the cave man days and yet we still use primitive approaches when hunting for women. That must and will change due to DR. L. Rx.

His technology begins by dispelling the myth that dating is a numbers game, similar to my dart/balloon analogy, but rather is a discipline that can be "MASTERED" if one educates oneself in a few areas that Dr. L.Rx provides. He follows with a very detailed explanation of his background and how it relates to his validity as a credible expert in the area of dating and relating.

The first step is to discover how to communicate with women after a brief period of analysis and evaluation. He posits that one should only approach women that are within their area of interest rather than the old approach of being desperate. Once approached women have a different thought process and he offers the reader an opportunity to fully understand this process in great detail, e.g. fear factor - "women like men who make them feel `safe'" (pg. 25). He discusses the fact that women are much more perceptive then men thus creating a clear for them when being approached, they can smell out a rat - `caveman looking for sex who will say and do anything to get it'.

In regards to another reviewer concerning grammatical errors, yes there are a few but he is misrepresenting this book by claiming that "almost every page has" errors. This book is no different than any other book that I have read. I always find errors in spelling and grammar. The content of this book is perfectly presented. It is logical, methodical, and reasonable in every way. Dr. L. Rx. Goes to great lengths to explain that some of his observations and conclusion are not meant as scientific absolutes but rather as predictors to a high degree of probability, e.g. the correlation of the angle of one's feet to one's degree of fear and the respective personality typing.

The bottom line is this: Will this approach be effective in getting me a date and/or possible future relationship? I have no doubt that it will. The book is reasonable and makes sense. I come away from this book with a much deeper appreciation for what women want and how "I" can apply that to finding my perfect match!

Sonuvagun, somebody finally figured out what women want - and he's written it all down in Dating To Relating - From A to Z. More specifically, he tells us what women want in a man.

The author, Mr. L. Rx, says he figured this all out by observation. He used a sizable sample - 700 dates. He's written a book about that too, the predecessor to this one. It's called How I Got 700 Dates in One Year. The results speak for themselves - this guy knows women.

And how do I know that? I am one. A woman, I mean. So are many of my friends, relatives and coworkers. What Dating To Relating - From A to Z has to say is true of the women that I know.

Ordinary dating gurus turn guys into robots, hopelessly repeating the same approach until they stumble upon the one type of woman in the one type of situation who will like it.

The strength of Dating To Relating - From A to Z is flexibility. It teaches how to approach different types of women in different kinds of situations. A guy who learns from this book could be attractive to any woman at any time. An extravagant claim? I thought so - until I read the book. It goes on to teach how to develop a relationship, the different types of relationships, and how to maintain them.

A useful feature of this book is that each chapter is complete in itself. You can read the most interesting chapter without wondering if there are important points in other chapters. Each chapter can stand alone.

Dating To Relating - From A to Z is a terrific book. I think it could live up to its claims, and I recommend it.

I had a little bit of trouble following the material, but once you get a grasp on what the author is trying to say, the book is well worth the price. The book is not well written, has a lot of typos, like others have said, but I didn't buy it to grade it. I bought it to better understand women, and I think it was valuable there.

What I got out of the book, is that men have to be keen observers. Not all women are the same (shocking!!), and a lot of the other date books either assume that they are, or they will only tell you how to be successful with a certain type of woman. This book also gives good insight on how to keep a good woman, once you catch them.

I really don't want to steal the author's thunder by summarizing. But what I got out of the book was to a) recognize what kind of woman you are dealing with b) respond in a manner that is appropriate to her personality and the situation, and c) continually assess and adjust to keep things sharp. There's a lot more in the book (almost too much), but the nuggets I got from here were valuable.

Dating to Relating is one of my favorite relationship books. This book is a must have before you begin to date. Mr. L. Rx. has several years of experience and he will teach you how to find someone with complete confidence. The chapters are short and the writing is clear which makes it both interesting and fun. The information is common sense and easy to understand. It is an enjoyable read.

Men make relationships harder than they have to be. They are looking for a workbook or guide to help them know what to say or what to do. This is that book! Once you finish this book, you will have no doubt what to do and when to do it. One of the ideas is showing interest in the girl he is interested in. Women know when that interest is not genuine. Get the book and find out how to do it different than every other guy who's approached her and walk away with the phone number. Learn what Motion Patterns are and how to Prospect and Qualify a woman. That sounds like a sales term but should really only spend time approaching women who are really for you.

Once you have the woman of your dreams, its time to create the relationship. How do you create a better relationship? The better the relationship the closer you are to finding a life mate. This book tells step by step how to create a loving relationship. Conversely if you find that alternative relationships are more your speed, Dating to Relating helps you maintain these relationship arrangements with integrity. The Art of Seduction is introduced and you may be surprised by what you learn. Add little seduction gradients to your dating routine.


If you learn nothing from reading the book then you are in a state of denial. Anyone who is currently in a relationship or just starting to look for one will read this book and learn something that is usable. The book is worth every penny and your time reading it. In fact, I read the book in three days and that's with working a full time job. I took it with me to read on lunch and breaks. It is an awesome book. Once you get the book, make sure you buy a highlighter also because you are going to want to refer back to it again and again.

Great book! It works. I never liked doing the "cocky and funny" and PUA stuff. Too phony. Not me. Dating To Relating is the real thing. It allows you to just be yourself. Works way better than that other stuff. Can't give it enough praise.

I have subscribed to Deangelo's Interview Series for almost three years now and have listened to advice from over 30 gurus, but Dating To Relating's advice worked better for me than anything else.

Mr. L. Rx is in a different league than these other gurus. Miles above them in basic knowledge and understanding of how it all works. In fact I was better able to apply things I had learned from other dating Gurus after studying and understanding Dating To Relating.

I really enjoyed and learned alot from this book. It has offered me a better way to meet and date women. Having read other books on the subject of dating I find this one to be the best.

For what it's worth here's my take on the book's strengths and weaknesses.

Weaknesses: 1) it does indeed look like neither a proofreader or editor ever saw the text before it was published; numerous grammatical errors, typos and entire sections being duplicated make it look somewhat amateurish; 2) it is full of statements that are presented as generalizations and rules although in many cases they seem more like personal opinions or beliefs at best and should have probably been called as such - especially when it comes to such area as dating; 3) the book is opened with a claim that the author has always been "hot" and constantly hit on and approached by women - which, in my opinion, somewhat undermines the book's credibility to a regular guy. In all honesty, if a similar book was written by a regular or nerdy looking dude it is quite possible that his experience (and - most importantly - conclusions) could have been totally different. Same goes for notions like 700 dates-a-year or different girl every night for months on end. Not very many regular guys can actually relate to that.

Strengths: what I really liked about the book is its honesty and that it is filled with appreciation for women. The section about lovemaking is one of the best - exactly for that reason - it emanates love and utter respect to women as human beings, not robots with boobs and genitalia that should be manipulated into bed. The vibe from the book is great - it's not written by a sleazeball; it's written by a person who has strong values and who genuinely loves, respects and appreciates women. Another part that I find admirable is the author's focus on building a relationship (whether long term or short-term)- not just on getting a girl. His philosophy is based on observing the women rather than blindly following someone else's pre-canned advice; the book teaches to understand and relate to women - which extends well beyond your typical "how-to" collection of dating tricks - and that's what makes it a great read.

So overall I liked this book - definitely one of the best on the market - and I'm certainly going to keep it. I think it carries a great value despite some minor glitches.

When I first saw the title of this book my first thought was "great, someone else who thinks they are an authority on relationships". Then I noticed the name of the author and knew there would be useful information within the pages. Well, Mr. L. Rx has done it again teaching us about relationships and attraction. His approach gets right down to the very basics to help men learn how to relate to women. The strategies suggested truly educate men on how to communicate and have a better understanding of them. This in turn finds women more responsive.

He suggests several different ways to use the book. In the book's foreword he lists the chapters to read if you are only interested in meeting and picking up women or if you are looking for strategies for relating to women. There are six different ways to read the book listed. I personally recommend reading it from front to back completely, as the author recommends. Mr. Rx urges you to stop reading when you find something that you could apply to your situation and try it. His reasoning for this is because he wants you to incorporate the strategies and technologies into your life so that all of your relationships are strengthened. You could use this book to just spend your life picking up chicks, but it is written to be able to create deep and meaningful relationships that will last an entire lifetime.

Mr. Rx takes into account that there are different personalities in different relationships and guides you so that you become more comfortable with interacting and relating with those differences. He devotes an entire chapter to the differences between men and women. This author has obviously spent a lot of time observing interactions between men and women which make this book a must read for anyone new or old to the dating circuit. The advice he gives will not only teach you about the opposite sex, you'll learn a lot about yourself in the process, too.
