Daughter of the Dons,
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: A Daughter of the Dons A Story of New Mexico Today (Kindle Edition)
Interesting book about New Mexico shortly after admission to the Union, January 1912; there were telephones on ranches and women doing clerical work in Santa Fe at the time this book was written. In my mind's eye I think of New Mexico at the time of statehood as being more wild west rather than sporting all the modern conveniences of the era. Gives a new perspective to `the olden days'.
