Great book about "Bloody" Mary,
By Tudorphile (USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Daughter of Henry VIII (Paperback)
I really enjoyed this book. It has a blistering portrayal of Henry VIII, but the rare sympathetic portrayal of that misunderstood, misguided figure, Mary Tudor. You can really see in this book how her views warped over time to lead to her eventual problems on the throne.
This book was extremely readable and definitely worth finding, even if it's out of print. |
