3.0 out of 5 stars Demon Doom
This is the second book narrated from Vanessa's point of view. It also marks the return of my favorite character, Stanton. Inspite of the forced relationship between him and Serena, he and Vanessa still have a very strong bond it seems. He protects her--for Serena's sake, of course. But when he interacts with Vanessa, the chemistry is stronger than when she is with...

A Kid's Review
This review is from: Daughters of the Moon: Moon Demon - Book #7 (Hardcover)
Summary: On Vanessa's quest to become more open and wild, she discovers new sides of her and things she never knew existed. Slowly she becomes jealous and angered by her friends seeming to cast her out and Catty, her best bud, no longer spending time with her all because of the new girl, Tianna. Vanessa feels different from her friends and distant from Michael, her bf. Suddenly, Vanessa meets Hector. He's handsome, understanding, and seems to catch her heart. While Vanessa becomes distracted and lonely, a demon lurks the earth, one that is extremely dangerous. Slowly the perplex puzzle reveals itself, the mystery unravelling, with quick twists and turns on the way to the center. Truly puzzling!
Comments: It wasn't hard to guess who the demon was, it was really easy actually. But the twists and turns that take you by surprise are what you discover and how foolish or brave Vanessa acts. During the book, you may become very angry or frustrated, maybe even want to cry, but in the end you will be satisfied. I don't like Vanessa too much, but still, you can't help but feel her emotions. Tianna seems to snatch her life away. But don't let Vanessa's thoughts or feelings fool you, sharp turns take you by surprise while you're on this ride.

5.0 out of 5 stars The best series, April 25, 2002
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Daughters of the Moon: Moon Demon - Book #7 (Hardcover)
I got the book in the mail on Tuesday and I started reading right away. I couldn't put it down. Vanessa has trouble with going invisible again. She tries to save someone and scares the girl because she makes her go invisble to save her. She also finds out how come she has so much trouble believing she's a godess. It's because of what she really is. But I think the best part of the book is about Vanessa and her new boyfriend Hector. She likes Hector and she still likes Michael. I can't tell you what happens becuase that would tell you the end and it's not going to be what you think its going to be!

5.0 out of 5 stars Moon Demon, June 26, 2004
By A Customer
This review is from: Daughters of the Moon: Moon Demon - Book #7 (Hardcover)
As Vanessa's birthday approaches she begins feeling left-out. Her friends always seem to be busy with something when she calls and are always leaving her out. Michael's acting weird, Stanton's helping her and Hector, the gorgeous new guy she meets, seems more and more irresistable everytime she meets him. Is there something Maggie didn't tell her? Why won't the stupid tatoo go away? And will she ever tell Michael what she wants for her birthday?

This review is from: Daughters of the Moon: Moon Demon - Book #7 (Hardcover)
Jimena hears that two of her friends have gone missing. She and the other Daughters go to Heaven's Ballroom where Dancing for Dollars is the practice. There, Vanessa meets Hector, a guy who seems beyond perfection. Vanessa is troubled. She likes HEctor, but she has a boyfriend.
Vanessa's best friend, Catty, then comes back from the future to warn Vanessa, but a strange force holds Catty back. Along with her visit, Catty brings a mysterious flame. Vanessa holds the flame for a minute. Overnight, the burn becomes a flowery pattern. This pattern is actually the mark of the devil that the Atrox has summoned to earth. Now Vanessa realizes that there has been comeone posing as Michael. Vanessa must find Jimena's friends, the real Michael, and the demon, before any of these come back to haunt her.

3.0 out of 5 stars Demon Doom, March 30, 2005

This is the second book narrated from Vanessa's point of view. It also marks the return of my favorite character, Stanton. Inspite of the forced relationship between him and Serena, he and Vanessa still have a very strong bond it seems. He protects her--for Serena's sake, of course. But when he interacts with Vanessa, the chemistry is stronger than when she is with Michael, or he is with Serena.

The Daughters of the Moon have to fight a new kind of bad guy in this book, a demon. And one who used to be Maggie's lover, we learn alot of little secrets about Maggie in this book. One of which seems like it should have greater reprecussions than it is having (Spoiler: Her deal with the Atrox.) I am still frustrated by Maggie, she always seems to be with holding information, and it never works for the girls benefit.

Vanessa also has a secret talent, that gets revealed, making her even more of a paragon of perfection.

Also who exactly are these daughters of Pandora? And why do they have to be horrible--after all Pandora is an Eve like figure, so wouldn't her daughters just be all those regular girls walking around? Pandora wasn't a goddess....

5.0 out of 5 stars Very well writen, June 28, 2004

Jessi (Harpswell, Maine USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Daughters of the Moon: Moon Demon - Book #7 (Hardcover)
As many people thought this book was too predictable, or not up to Lynn Ewings normal standard, and yes, perhaps, she did make like that, but I guess it would depend on who was reading it. I personally, thought at some parts, you could guess who that person really was, but the whole Micheal thing had me baffled. It was very well writen and is a must read for any dotm fan. And they really all deserve 5 stars.
the best part of this book had to be the tattoo, it was a clever idea of how the fire marked people, and how it reflected how she felt. It was a great book, and I loved it, plus I really like the charector of Vanessa. She seemed so unstable, and she's really grown stronger mentally.
all these books are great, and I especially like the Daughters of the Moon #7.

5.0 out of 5 stars Why is everyone saying this book is not good?, June 17, 2004
This review is from: Daughters of the Moon: Moon Demon - Book #7 (Hardcover)
This book is not the best but I still think it's good enough to get 5 stars. In my opinion you should read this book it's a important part in the Daughters of the Moon Series you'll miss out on a lot of information. The book is about how Vanessa is about to turn 16. But her friends don't seem to want to hang out with her anymore. Catty is spending a lot of time with Tianna. And she is trying to get the courage to tell Michael what she really wants for her birthday. But Michael isn't seeming all very Michael then she meets Hector and her problems seem solved.

5.0 out of 5 stars I can relate to Vanessa, December 6, 2003
This review is from: Daughters of the Moon: Moon Demon - Book #7 (Hardcover)
I like this story. Vanessa is really likable and tries to please everyone but in this book we get to see her hidden ways and learn things about her that she has kept from everyone. (I also love her clothes and the fact that she has a room of clothes her mother has designed for movies so she can shop at home.) I also like knowing who Hector is and what kind of trouble Vanessa is going to get into but the thing with "Michael" was a big surprise.

5.0 out of 5 stars YOU HAVE TO BUY IT, March 14, 2003
By A Customer
This review is from: Daughters of the Moon: Moon Demon - Book #7 (Hardcover)
like the title says--there's a demon. this one is about Vanessa- how she feels about herself...and Michael. i don't know what her problem is; they belong together...it's totally obvious. the way the book explores the character makes it one of the best in the series. the parts w/ Michael are absolutely adorable. you'll never guess what she wants for her birthday...if you want to know read it yourself!!
