I think the original review was too harsh. He probably expected to be able to master the game within the first 2 minutes of playing. That's not how it works here. It will take you about 1 hour to get pretty proficient at the game but let me tell you it is well worth it. It is then that you can start doing combos connecting the whole levels together with grind tricks, air tricks, and vert tricks. If you like Tony Hawk Pro Skater series, you will like this game.

Also, IGN gave it an 8 out of 10 "Impressive" rating.

I have alot of gamecube games and I like to get so many every week or 2 to add to my collection. Well I was wandering around my local kmart and spotted this game for $10 bucks. I read the back and o this will be a blast to play and a good game to add to my collection. I was way way wrong. I played this game for not even 5 minutes and it was soooooooo boring. I normally don't have anything bad to say about any video game because I like almost any one but this one is really bad. The graphics on it are terrible. The bikes well they don't even look normal. The people are really horrible. The only thing I like about it is there are good tricks but almost impossable to do without falling on your face all the time. I'm glad I didn't pay more than $10 bucks for this it is awful. It reminds me of the Tony Hawk 3 (sucks), but I do like the rest of the Tony Hawks. I would say if you like boring games and bad graphic games then this ones for you, if not DON"T BUY this one. Rent first then if you like it then buy. This game is the worst when you wanna have fun.
