Product Description

Dave, a painter living in a poor section of Wenterly City, just wanted to make a living. But the arrogant knight for whom he was doing a portrait wanted a gryphon in the background.

So that's how Dave found himself at the house of a Wizard who'd been a friend of his father's...

He'd never paint the same way again.

Ever.

More About the Author

JA Howe loves worldbuilding. It's one of her favorite things to do when writing. Not surprisingly, then, the first story/book here is from the land of Kritter (high fantasy), but she's also written stories in a more tech-based environment, generally "Post-Cherryn" stuff (sf/speculative fiction). She watches how technology in this computerized era moves about through societies. Her stories have been published in "Jim Baen's Universe", "Beyond Centauri", and "StereoOpticon" (an anthology by Drollerie Press). Her website is http://howewriter2000.4t.com
