This is my shortest review... If you liked Stop Making Sense, then purchase this DVD.

David Byrne moves forward without the Heads for an all-star performance.

I LOVE the Heads but found myself asking, "why didn't he leave sooner?"

A must have!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN A DAVID BYRNE FAN. I THOUGHT EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS DVD WAS GOOD. I LIKED HIS BACK-UP BAND AND THE CAMERA WORK. I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO HIS NEXT OFFERING. HE IS MESMERIZING-- PENELOPE HUFF

This performance from David Byrne is near flawless. His band is Damn good. The percussion is really fun and the bass player is as solid as they come while delivery the harmony vocals perfectly by himself. There are some great versions of Talking Heads classics plus some of his best solo work. There is a bad ass string section that really puts the fresh twist on these songs although my only criticism is that they may have been used a little too much but i understand why he would want to use them that much....because they are that good! David Byrne is a national artistic treasure. He makes you think, dance, & want to cry all at the same time.

David is just terrific here. The presentation is very professional. Camera coverage of the performers is most satisfying. Sounds good as well. Wish it was longer.
