Several years ago, I had the pleasure of seeing one of my childhood heroes in concert "in the round" and it was the thrill of a lifetime! For those of you who have not seen David perform live, here is your chance to experience him live, immortalized on DVD which is almost as great! Performed earlier in the year at his sold out concert at the Hammersmith Apollo in London, this is one great performance by this die-hard former 70s teen heart throb! The music is beautiful and well, maybe the background singers aren't the Partridges, but there are several chart topping Partridge tunes here to keep the Partridge fanatics happy. Of the Patridge tomes, David performs I Can Feel Your Heartbeat, Echo Valley 2-6809, Summer Days, I Think I Love You, (regular and acoustic!)I'll Meet You Halfway,I Woke Up In Love This Morning and Breaking up Is Hard To Do......BUT he also performs his own chart toppers: I am A Clown, I Write The Songs (yes, Cassidy recorded it BEFORE Manilow!), Could It Be Forever, Ricky"s Tune, Common Thief, Rock Me Baby, Cherish, Last Kiss and How Can I Be Sure, not to mention covers of Beatles tunes such as No Reply, You've Got To Hide Your Love Away, McCartney's Blackbird and the Stone's Gimme Shelter! A well rounded hits show with David totally enjoying the audience and hamming it up! The music is great even though Cassidy's voice has grown even raspier, the tunes are fun and the excitement is still there! Great picture quality and sound (Dolby 2.0) and picture is 16:9 Animorphic. Also included is a new interview with David called Being David Cassidy. Excellent gift purchase for the Cassidy or Partridge fan in your life! A 70s collector MUST HAVE!!!

I was particularly thrilled with this DVD of David's concert in London at the end of his last big tour. He does his usual high energy performance, but adds some very touching moments. The interlude with only David and an acoustic guitar on the stage was wonderfully intimate. But his performance of the song "Last Kiss", after telling the audience that he will not be doing anymore big tours, is absolutely riveting. The emotion he pours into the song is gut wrenching. There are moments of laughter, too. There were a few places where the sound was too low to hear what was being said, but other than that, it is a fantastic concert movie and well worth the price.

David Cassidy gives his all to his fans. If you have never seen his show this will make you feel as if you are in his audience.
I have both his first DVD and this one. Both seem to have the same music format except for the new question and answer set on this DVD.

From David Cassidy's sold out tour of the UK, filmed live at the Hammersmith Apollo in London. This is a musical time capsule, spanning his 30+ year career.

Songs include acoustic versions of The Beatles classics "No Reply", "You've Got To Hide Your Love Away", and "Blackbird". David performs a very special, personal, acoustic version of "I Think I Love You".

Great selection of songs, many of which he introduces as his personal favorites, combined with a touch of humor, makes this DVD very entertaining. Pure enjoyment from start to finish!!
I could watch it over and over!!

His voice is terrific; he's still got it! I only wish I knew the names of the production people behind those songs because they at least deserve equal recognition (the architecture of those songs are perfect and transend the decades). He enjoys putting on these shows and you can see. Here you get Dave entertaining and not Keith Partridge; he manages putting on a good show and at the same time interacting with the crowd and the video viewing audience, which I really enjoy. There are DVD extras that let you see where Daves at in his life now; I liked that too. He's still great and I hope to see him in concert! Keep it up Dave! Don't quit touring in Los Angeles yet! ...cause I wanna go to a show.

David is still adorable and sounds great. This DVD shows his love for what he does. He gets into his music and it still sounds great with a mature touch.

This is the first time I listen to David Cassidy's songs. The lyrics are romantic, gentle and soothing The sound quality of the DVD is so so because the volume is very low. The picture quality is average. He has some very lovely songs. I found most of the music are monotonous and sounds almost the same!

We really liked the DVD. Our only complaint is that he changed some of the arrangements from what we expected. Regardless, still, a great performer.

I just watched this video for the first time. I was in kind of a crabby mood, (I have teenagers!) and I'm nothing but happy now! If you were a David Cassidy lover back in the 70's, you'll love this. He's still our David!!!

David shows his humble side along with his energetic hip swinging performance. He sings all the fan favorites as he interacts with the audience. You can hear every word and the sound is awesome, you'll want to get up and dance. Even my husband enjoyed this concert! This DVD encouraged me to go see him live where he was just as exciting and personable. This is a must buy!
