Concert Dave says:
If the new release is better than"If I Could Only Remember My Name"it must be awesome.

There's no available audio I love the Old Croz..not a fan of the over produced slicker new Crosby as on the last Crosby-Nash CD...compared to If I could Only Remember it was awful. Had one really good song co written by James Raymond---LAY ME DOWN. let's hope new Croz is like OLD Croz...

I am reserving judgement as well. Agree about the last Crosby\Nash - VERY sterile sound. All Cros needs to do is roll some real analog tape and he'd be fine without all the other processed games.

His son, James raymond kind of turned him on to the processed sound. I think james Raymond is a fine songwriter but producing a song acoustically is one of the joys of owning a Crosby song..not all processed with filters and as you say "a sterile sound". I have looked for sound samples on two sites and both sites have no samples of his new cd. I will check CSN web site later today. I own ALL of CSNY lps and solos. Crosby';s last good solo CD was way back "OH yes I can"

Yes the whole album is available for preview. I didn;t find it" awesome" but I did enjoy certain tracks. I beleive a repeat listening will solidify any rating. The first couple songs sounded like CPR were a turn off.The others were really interesting. I would have liked to hear CROZ alone, naked, acoustic. Only two songs go of them, "If She Called" is the highlight for me. An Inspired Song reminiscent of Guineverre .just a beautiful track. And then Morning Falling..goes nowhere any CSNY song has gone before. It is his best piece of Music and production in ages. Crosby has added so much to real music. It makes me sad when people only think the Pop Song is "art" when it is nothing ..nothing but Cash for Those Who ALready have....ENOUGH. One more listen...
