This was an excellent study on the life and trials of David. And is totalally relatable to modern day life. I highly reccomend this study guide.

I am a leader of a small group of 14 people, and this book works great for the discussion time in our Bible study. This book is really based solely on the Bible reading for that week, and the questions relate to that. There is a little 1 page devo at the beginning of each section, which I use sparingly, but does relate well to the material for those who want to use it. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for something to supplement their small group time. This book is great for that, but if you are looking for a book that will be the core of the Bible study, there are better books for that out there.

i enjoyed the life guide bible studies in general, but this is probably one of the best among them! it gets deep into 1 & 2 samuel, and really teaches us both God's great love and great mercy, throughout the life of david. i would definitely recommend this!
