About the Author
Shraga Simmons is a foremost expert on media bias relating to the Mideast conflict. In 2000, with the outbreak of the Palestinian Intifada, he became the founding editor of HonestReporting.com. He went on to produce a series of acclaimed online films, including "Suicide Activists on the Gaza Flotilla" and "Photo Fraud in Lebanon," which was viewed by 5 million people in a span of days. Simmons holds a degree in journalism from the University of Texas at Austin, and has a long career - beginning at age 16 - reporting for daily newspapers and national magazines. He is an ordained rabbi and serves as Senior Editor of Aish.com, the Judaism website with 400,000 unique email subscribers. His live seminar, "Media Bias in the Mideast Conflict," is popular with community and university groups, providing tools for fighting media bias and keen insights into the peace process. His work has been translated into 10 languages.
