This review is from: The David Icke Guide to the Global Conspiracy (Paperback)
David Icke is the one "conspiracy researcher" who has developed a relatively advanced spiritual awareness from which he can provide a useful context and understanding of the material he has uncovered. This book overlaps much with his previous works, refining and updating his analysis of the many facets and details of the conspiratorial nature of civilization, as well as his description of the physics and metaphysics underlying our reality. Icke doesn't really have anything new or groundbreaking here that goes beyond his previous books, yet this book puts things together pretty well and offers a lot of insights to help readers who are ready to deprogram themselves from consensus reality. Icke covers the Illuminati hybrid bloodlines, reptilians & ETs, mind control, satanic rituals, ancient civilizations, the global political and economic machinations, secret societies, the assault on our health and ability to use higher consciousness, and much more. He even exposes the man-made global warming con and its purpose. Icke offers clear, concise overviews of the "new physics" and the nature of how vibratory reality is generated, with his use of the hologram and matrix metaphors. Icke expects a global awakening and in a small segment of the population this is occurring. While I enjoy the presentation of info Icke provides I do have some minor differences of perspective on what he relays in his writings.

The thing is, since it's all an illusory dream-world projection that we experience then why does it ultimately matter if the civilization frees itself? The matrix per se exists for spirit/consciousness to experience and learn from, so if things are the way they are on Earth then that's an opportunity for certain projections of spirit to have certain kinds of lessons and experiences. All experience is ultimately neutral and there's infinite time in the eternal "now" for all lessons to occur, so whether we wake up and end the dark power matrix or not on this timeline, it's OK... we all still have our own individual path and journey of spiritual maturation and if humanity as a whole remains in a stupor that doesn't have to hold back any individuals who are ready to proceed beyond this level of experience.

So while I consider this book and Icke's previous writings to be quite valuable and well-researched I don't consider him a flawless authority. If we take anything from Icke's works to apply in our lives it's that we should be free-thinking individuals and prepared to think outside of boxes and speak our truths no matter how it might appear to those around us. David Icke is a must-read if you want to build a better understanding of human-reptilian civilization and how it suppresses one's spirituality and individuality.

David Icke tells it like it all really is....and doesn't miss a detail when it comes to exposing the hidden agenda...The book is great for someone just learning about the illuminati agenda and refreshes those like myself of issues read a while back from his other books. There are so many new facts, names, figures to explore in this new book.. that will blow the reader's mind. I highly recommend this book to all who are trying to figure out what's been really going on in the world but just can't seem to find the answers.

I highly respect Mr. Icke and his...quest or whatever, but his style of writing and presentation seems to come off as a bit obsessive at times. Not to say that he hasn't blown my third eye wide open or anything, but I have a friend that talks just like him all the time and it drives me completely up the wall.

Still, I'd say it's his best book so far simply because it's the most up-to-date, comprehensive, and, therefore, approachable by neophytes.

3.0 out of 5 stars 95% Conspiracy, 5% How to End It, November 10, 2007

I'll have to admit I bought David Icke's Guide to Global Conspiracy (and how to end it) more for the "how to end it" part than the "global conspiracy" part. I was already convinced that there is more than meets the eye in what is happening both in the United States and around the world.

Perhaps I bought the wrong book.

Icke presents 500+ pages of conspiracy, ranging from the great flood to 9/11 to thought control and beyond.

Enough, already!

No, too much, already.

I heard Icke in a recent interview, and I thought he'd have some genuinely creative thoughts about how to solve the problems of greed and corruption we currently face. I was disappointed. The answer he provides is not a satisfying, comprehensive solution to our problems.

If you're a fan of David Icke, if you need to be convinced of global conspiracy, this is your book. But if you're looking to Icke for solutions, you may be disappointed.

5.0 out of 5 stars paradigm shift, December 12, 2007

This review is from: The David Icke Guide to the Global Conspiracy (Paperback)
David Icke's books are unlike any other. He does not pull punches, tells the reader just exactly what he thinks about an issue. His outlook, while out of the mainstream, warrents a second look. If even a little of what he says is true, then reading his work could cause a paradigm shift in the way a reader looks at just about everything. I have started looking at things differently than I did before reading his book. Everything just might not be as it appears.

5.0 out of 5 stars ignorance is a bliss, knowledge is better, wisdom is finding your own truths, May 7, 2008
This review is from: The David Icke Guide to the Global Conspiracy (Paperback)
Well, it's the dilemma for most people. Should I take the blue pill or the red pill. "Do I stay ignorent and laugh these topics off, or am I brave enough to crumble down the wall of the world I thought I knew".
David Icke is an eye-opener, a dot connector. Today's society is an unaware victim of the "boiling frog syndrome". Because everything goes with baby steps en with well portioned newsitems, people are not capable to put all the pieces together... but the pieces you should see are all there. David Icke makes them visable.

I would say, throw your TV out of the window, don't believe anything they say in the media and start digging yourself. Dig for answers and (long lost) wisdom. Recently I've had a lot of time on my hands, thinking and reading about all the subjects Icke (and others like Stuart Wilde's Affirmations) covers, but for those who are caught in a bussy 9-5 job this book sums it all up.

Everything you need to know... and when you want to know more, all these subjects are well covered at You Tube etc. You might as well check out Icke's 7 hour long presentation Freedom or Facism - time to choose... okay it's 7 hours.. but it's life changing!

Good luck to all truthseekers, together we can stop this... we will!

5.0 out of 5 stars Global Conspiracy - Icke's Pet Lizard, November 22, 2009
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: The David Icke Guide to the Global Conspiracy (Paperback)
This is a big book, over 600 pages, and it took me a while to read, but it covers a lot of information on all aspects of society. A friend saw the size of the book and asked me what I was reading. I read them this one quote, and it is a perfect summary of this book:
"Just look at us. Everything is backwards. Doctors destroy health, lawyers destroy justice, universities destroy knowledge, governments destroy freedom, the media destroy information and religions destroy spirituality."

Icke makes a great comparison to Orwell's book 1984. We are basically living this book 25 years later.

The repetitive theme of the conspiracy is Problem - Reaction - Solution, and it keeps coming up again and again, all over the world. The contrived problems require a government solution, and the fear they cause leads us to accept a solution resulting in a loss of freedom. Of course the same people always come up connected to allowing the "problems" to occur. What a coincidence!

Although Icke's information on the Reptilians may be hard to accept given the prevailing paradigms, it can be looked at as the lowest part of the human brain that is so strong and dominant in these people that it overrides everything else. But then, after watching Obama catch a fly on TV, maybe they really are human hybrids.

He gives a great perspective and includes plenty of references for anyone who doubts his credibility.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great reading, October 1, 2008
This review is from: The David Icke Guide to the Global Conspiracy (Paperback)
This book is great, there is already lots of stuff I knew & much more I didn't already know. I've got 100 pages left to go before I finish it. A previous reviewer titled 95% conspiracy 5% how to end it - says perhaps he bought the wrong book. I think he's missing the point that knowing what is going on is half the battle. Just like in an alcoholics anymous meeting "Hi, I'm an awake indivual who will awaken others to what is really going on!" - All my friends know the real story of what is happening here & what is the end goal. Resistance is most important. If we choose not to give our power away these changes aren't going to happen (I think I've heard that somewhere before!).

5.0 out of 5 stars Icke-good at what he does, September 11, 2008
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: The David Icke Guide to the Global Conspiracy (Paperback)
This book is an excellent source for anyone who needs their eyes open to the matrix. By exposing conspiracy, he identifies the problem, and for that reason alone, the book merits attention.I have long been concerned about societies such as Skull and Crossbones. Based on the readings of Rudolf Steiner on Ahriman and Lucifer, I had also come to the conclusion that certain wars could be used as a black magic ritual to fuel negative energy.

However, it seems to me that he needs to reflect a little more on the purpose of certain mystery schools and scriptures which were not, originally, malevolent. I agree that the schools have fallen into decadence, have been corrupted and are dangerous in their modern form. This was to a large degree the result of the Fall, which gradually separated humanity from our more enlightened origins.

Therefore, the critical shortcoming of this book is that it does not allow us to look back at certain primeval wisdom which could be a source of strength for our liberation.

For example, certain concepts as the trinity have have primeval, fallen and redeemed versions. For a more balanced view, I would recommend reading some of the gnostic, cathar, alchemical authors which struggled with these questions.

Icke has done an excellent job of exposing the matrix, but he has also condemned certain keys for unlocking it.

Once again David gets it right. If you only buy one book on conspiracies, this would be the one. Well-written, easily understood, this book gives you insight into what's really going on behind the scenes in today's world, and most importantly why. I've delved even deeper into the dark side of our reality, but this is a great book to get someone started. It should be required reading.
