i like the feel of the leather and the design of the bag. the magnetic snaps don't work that well.AND, after minimal use with < 3 lb load each time, the thread broke at couple places, especially one at the anchor where the shoulder strap loops through. this can result in additional stress and could potentially rip the leather. so i spent 2+ hours sewing it. sewing through leather is not an easy task. definitely not fun. cosmetically, it doesn't look as good anymore. could be my bad luck. but i would not recommend this bag to anyone, especially when there are many other choices.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE THE LOOK OF THE BAG. I WAS SOOOO DISAPPOINTED WHEN THE BACK ZIPPER CAME APART WITHIN 5 HRS OF USING THE BAG.

I like this bag, though it is certainly not going to be a family heirloom. I have owned the darkest leather model for a few months now, and a good amount of the color has worn off the back off the bag, were it contacts my body as I walk. I also made the mistake of wearing this bag with a white shirt (one of my favorites) while it was raining slightly over the summer and the color transfer from the bag to my shirt, where unfortunately the coloring is actually permanent. Additionally, the snaps that hold the bag closed are fastened to a thin piece of fabric on the inside of the bag, rather than directly riveted to the leather. Not shockingly, one snap has become completely detached, while the other is on it's way. I might possibly buy this bag again if I were in the market for another cheap product in the category, but I'd definitely look elsewhere before I made a decision.

Item received is not the item listed!,

I ordered this product in large part due to the finish and color of the leather; as well as the internal cell phone holder. Shipment was fast; but I opened the box to find a completely different style of messnger bag. I was sent a 3/4 flap messenger in a much darker chocolate brown. In spite of this I decided to keep the bag because I like the quality and the color worked for me (even though it is less casual than the picture). Due to this I cannot comment on how customer service would have handled this situation.. The quality of this product is very good! ~but you might not get exactly what you ask for....

Exactly what I was looking for...,

I wanted a bag that wasn't too big and bulky, but big enough for my laptop and a few other items. The zipper compartment in the back is big enough for a couple of files or even a couple of notebooks. Under the flap there are two front pockets that have room for bulkier items like a glasses case, cords, mouse, etc. The main compartment also has room for more than just a laptop. I appreciate that there is no built-in padding, because I saved the unattached zipper pocket from my last bag. Now I can just slip my laptop out of my bag and it's still protected. I really love the looks (I have the cafe, which is a beautiful dark brown), and the feel of this messenger bag when I'm carrying it. The strap is very comfortable. I do miss having the top handle for grabbing it out of the car, but the sacrifice has been worth it so far.

Excellent shoulder bag,

I bought this shoulder bag because I wanted a crisp professional way to carry my things. I also wanted something that didn't make me look like a suit. This is the best of both worlds. It's convenient, professional, and just funky enough that I don't feel like a banker. The construction seems solid. I've had it for a month, and aside from a little normal wear and tear it's great. The interior cell phone pocket can be a bit hard to reach when I hear a call coming in. Also, I've had objects fall out of the two outer un-zippable pockets, so I just don't use them anymore. But aside from that, an excellent bag for the price.
