Pocket Dictionary of Lynch,
By C. James Brown (Newtown, NSW Australia) - See all my reviews
This review is from: David Lynch (Pocket Essentials) (Paperback)
If you have read any works on David Lynch this one will come as a crushing disappointment.Sections on the works of Lynch are rendered in language we would expect from the webpages of alt.culture. The authors clearly love Lynch's work, but this doesn't excuse their inability to ground their comments in any form of cultural discourse. While it does cover some of the more obscure areas of Lynch's work (particularly the early stuff) the reader will garner little more than trivial tidbits. A beginner's guide to say the least. C. James Brown
