This album of Russell's has an excellent selection of music. With all of the works, Russell's performance is best ever; clean, articulate, powerful and masterful. The sound quality is also amazing and his beloved instrument, Matthias Dammann, shines through it.

Mind you I am one huge fan of David Russel, no two ways about it, but this CD is horrific. I dumped in the trash 2 hours after it arrived and I began listening to it. These "noted musicians", writing simply for David, must have been playing a joke on him. Not one of these songs is worth the plastic, not even with David trying to make them sound decent.
