This wire-hung compensator holds your level line of site for added reliability. A multilayer coated lens provides clear, easy sighting, while the short minimum focus of 3.31 ensures a sharp image. A 26x automatic level, an aluminum dome-head extension leg tripod, a 9-foot aluminum leveling rod, a plumb bob, a rain and dust shade, an instruction manual, and a shockproof carrying case are included. A unique compensator lock protects the level during transport. The range is up to 300 feet with an accuracy within 1/16 of an inch at 200 feet. The instrument alone weighs 3 pounds; with case and plumb bob, 4 pounds, 13 ounces.

I recently purchased this level to replace a broken nikon ax-1which sells for the exact same price as the David White package. Tocompare these two levels is like comparing night to day, with this one being the hands down favorite! The viewfinder on top is great and the overall "feel" of the controls and the movement is by far better than the competitor. I also found it much easier to level up, and like the fact that it is a little heavier than the other, feels sturdier on the tripod. This is a great level for the price! And I was also really pleased with the aluminum adjustable stick that came with it!
