I have two of these, installed at two houses; one of them has been installed for over 6 years. These radiation shields are very well made, and perform flawlessly. The plastic is very high grade; in 6 years, there were no signs of yellowing or becoming brittle. The construction is excellent. It is very easy to properly and securely set the sensor so that it is close to the center of the internal measurement chamber. Various papers on the web show that the Davis radiation shields are the best, or among the very best. I cannot be more satisfied with mine, certainly.
