I teach sailing on small craft and the Telo-Cat is really helpful for young men and women to see which direction the wind is coming from rather that where it feels like it is coming from when you are on the small tramp of a catamaran. Great product to make sailing better.

Great concept. In low to moderate winds the Telo-Cat functions very well. However, I have used it on a Hobie 14 in heavy shifting winds and have experienced moderate shifting of the base. I think this has a lot to do with the forward stay movement and horizontal "spin." Overall - well worth the investment, especially if you lack a jib.
