This a very detailed & informative drug guide. I purchased because of taking a
pharmacology class. On the CD the lookup for the drugs has an audio pronunication which is excellent. It's the most current edition & a great asset to another library of resources for school or work. The best money ever spent.

I was completely excited to get my copy of Davis's Drug Guide in the mail today, complete with CD-ROM and PDA download. And that's where it ends. I pull out the CD-ROM, and discover it's not compatible with my MacBook Pro. That means no software or PDA download for me. Macs are becoming more popular than ever, and F.A. Davis needs to get with the program and make a CD-ROM compatible with Mac.

I carried this to clinicals during nursing school and it was a quick and easy to use reference book for drugs. It was recommended by my nursing instructors when I bought it, and I recommend it to other nursing students myself. However, I would get the most current one now - this one is from 2008 when I first started the nursing program, and by my second year, there were more new drugs out that weren't in my book.

this is the book which has A to Z drug list including recently marketed medicines. full fill my clinical requirement. this is not come with CD with the price is worth without CD. we cant carry CD in clinic but we can carry book on the floor. so it is worth not to spend extra $ on product which has CD.

This book was very useful in nursing school. It has a CD-rom with a downloadable drug guide. I was able to cut and paste drug information from it and did not have to retype information for drug sheets.

This book is very handy. It has all of the drugs that the Med deck has except is much easier and faster to use. Would recommend this product.

This drug book has been an enormous help throughout my time in nursing school. If you haven't taken pharmacology yet, this book will be of great importance to you; even after pharm, for those drugs you can't remember or were not given to study.

The Davis Drug guide for PDA was required for our clinicals but I purchased this book too. It proved to be extremely valuable for the clinical preps. The CD rom has an easy lookup to the drugs. Writing the clinical preps would have been hours longer if I hadn't been able to look the drug ups so easily. I recommend this just for the CD alone, and I have used the book as well.

I bought this book as an essential accompaniment to my pharmacology class. Having to do case studies I needed to look up a number of drugs, but it wasn't the book I used, it was the the PC software that came with it. You can look up by drug name or category and 'boom'...in seconds there's your drug with all the exact same information laid out for you. In fact its laid out exactly like the book, which makes me think they're probably PDF files, but it opens inside the program, not Adobe Reader.

The information can even be copy and pasted, making some reports MUCH faster without concern of typos. Also of great importance is that in addition to the PC software it also can be run on a PDA (separate software included)! So you're getting a lot for your money. Can't recommend it enough.

This book has helped a lot. It's east to read and follow. I love it's small size and convenience. I can take it everywhere with me. I use it at my clinicals for on the spot help and the answers are all right in the book. It's a must have book, great for looking up specific points about the drug.
