An AUTHENTIC and fantastic CD of "Didj" tunes recorded on location in Australia!

Adam Plack (Australian-born, but currently living and working as a composer in L.A.) and various other Australian musicians perform traditional songs of the Ku-Ku Imaji and Ku-Ku Yalanji tribes of Northern Queensland.

There is information printed on the inside of the ENTIRELY RECYCLED packaging, which informs of the musicians involved in each song and well as a small bit of information about the piece.

The diverse moods of these songs are enhanced wonderfully by their outdoor recording locations. The ambient sounds (of birds, crickets, rushing water, etc.) coexist with the instruments to create SUCH an immersive experience, it seriously borders on psychedelic. I highly suggest listening to this CD with headphones!

* At the time of this review, there are 4 copies of "Dawn Until Dusk" for sale between 3 and 5 CENTS (plus shipping), so there's really no excuse to not to give it a listen! :-)

**On a psychedelic + didgeridoo + electronic music side-note, please check out Alien Dreamtime.

The best of the currently available didjeridu recordings. The techniques are very smooth and the wilderness accompaniments are terrific. I've learned alot from this disk.

This CD captures a variety of Aboriginal music and sounds from bird and animal sounds to the human voice. The diversity is great and well worth the price of the CD.
