I was thrilled to see that Ronan finally came out with a spiritually based CD, and I think he knocked it out of the park with this one. I have listened to all of the tracks, and the emotion he puts into each of them has taken these familiar songs, hymns, etc. to a new level. Whether you're a fan of Ronan's, or spiritual music in general, I think you'll be glad you came across this one.

Promoted as an inspirational CD, Ronan Tynan's "The Dawning of the Day" truly reflects this definition. Although he recorded several religious songs that are inspiring, three songs tell stories of different journeys.

"Mia Dolorosa" lets you experience Christ's journey to Calvary. Through Ronan's magnificent voice, you experience both the hatred and sorrow of Good Friday.

With "Go Rest High on That Mountain", you not only experience the love between a Father and his son, but the sorrow of death.

The most important journey occurs as you listen to "The Dawning of the Day". Written after September 11th, you experience that day through the eyes of one person who ran towards the Twin Towers; his death and those of his men; the sorrow of the family; and a wish that the family will continue. Ronan's presentation of this song will cause you to relive that day through the precious and powerful words, written in memory of loved ones lost.

Ronan's "The Dawning of the Day" CD would be an important addition to anyone's CD collection as you will totally enjoy the songs, Ronan's beautiful voice and the inspirational music.

About the same quality as "Ronan" which was also a very strong album, the use of the word 'awesome' is not overstating how great this CD is...

This CD fits a quiet, contemplative mood. The songs are

done so well by Ronan - what a great voice!

This is by far his best CD yet. I even e-mailed his website and told him just that.I have four other CD's of his including a Irish Tenors one, This is the best.

I have never left a review, but this CD is great, like it has already been said, " Ronan Tynan out did his self with his tenor voice. I love it and play it all the time.

Ronan Tynan has a beautiful voice, I can listen to his cds all day long at work and home, heck while driving too. It is a pleasure!

Beautiful recording. Excellent as a gift for someone who has recently lost a loved one, or needs inspiration.

A wonderful CD of great songs by the best Irish tennor ever. Ronan sings an entire CD of beautiful songs.

The orchestra seemed to overwhelm the singer. I wanted to hear his great voice--but it didn't happen for me.
