I for one found this book fascinating. It's set in time in the after math of the Civil War, but it is funny, and romantic. I find Carol Finch to be an excellant writer. I find her hero's and heroine's are intelligent, sarcastic, stubborn, and roguishly charming. Trust me when I say this book is worth the paper it's printed on. Thank You!
