As Always....Michael pours from the heart. Beauty and tenderness shines through as well as the light of his soul here on earth! A must for every poem collector!

Michael has "walked the walk" when it comes to the highs and lows of love and romance - this collection of poems is solid evidence.
Dawn's Kiss is not always an easy read; a poem of absolute bliss in the arms of eternal love may fill you with envy (Michael's descriptions of the exhileration and empowerment of love are often compelling), but fear not, he will soon show through his words that he, too, doubted the reality of fulfillment found in the presence of another human being, and he mourned the loss of true love, and you will be comforted.
The poems herein take you to "celestial" (a word used often in his writings) heights, or give you pause as you stare into the empty eyes of a lady at the local pub.
Do not rush through this book. Keep it, read it slowly, digest the contents, savor it, poem by poem. You will be rewarded with a journey into the highs and lows of a staple of life that is so often spoken of, yet so rarely pictured with the understanding that these poems facilitate.

This collection of poetry is absolutely beautiful. Michael's poetry is so very touching. He is truly gifted! I know what they say about "don't judge a book by its cover", but you have to admit, the cover of the book is beautiful! The cover is just a beautiful prelude to the beauty inside.

I came upon Michael Dennis' book of love poetry recently. I was drawn to the lovely book cover with the sunrise in pastel colors of pink, violet, and yellow. Once I opened it and began reading some poems, my heart was moved by the depth and expression in these poems. Very touching and inspirational poems. Enjoyed reading this very much. It goes right to the soul! Even made me cry a time or two.

This author's ability to pick the concise words to convey emotional states of LOVE is astounding! His descriptive topics and flow make for an easy read that all can relate to. I highly recommend this book to all lovers and lovers of poetry. I think it would make a great gift too!
