I discovered Dawn Landes having met her name on Suzanne Vega's personal page in a social community web site. After listening to some demo tracks, without any hasitation, I ordered all off her albums from Amazon. I found myself listening to a new musical masterpiece which i've been searching for the last 21 years. Taken the Dylan, Petty, Harrison, Orbison, Knopfler and Waits oldies out of my car just listenin' to Dawn for weeks now.
Because of the professionally-made album completeness in Dawn's Music, i prefer not to do a song by song review. Every next song is to add the finishing touches. Though it's only the first album of Dawn, with simlicity, rockability, and perfect combination of desperation and hope in it, this album is an ideal new start to music... if you're bored of listenin' to the same musicians for a decade, like me...
