"I admit that back then I needed both alcohol and loud music to help me with my approaches, especially the latter, which would soften the silences caused by my weak conversational skills."

Approach Day Bang however you will, what I guarantee you is that you will not put it down without an emotional impact. In my opinion, this is the ultimate mark of a good book: it leaves its reader unchanged, a mind forever expanded, whatever the final feeling.

Part psychology textbook, part sociology, part self-help, but all seduction, Day Bang is written, above all, with an ultimately pragmatic eye: what does it takes to meet, speak to, generate attraction from and eventually and unapologetically have intercourse with women. Roosh goes about outlining his view on what is known as "day game" with a precision, a methodology that may surprise were it not known that in a former life, he was a scientist. This is seduction at the edge of a surgeon's scalpel.

If I have painted a picture in your mind of ruthlessness, cast it out. There's nothing ruthless about how its author unfolds the topic: there's business to be done all right, but it is to be done with the underpinning realization that one is dealing with human beings. So do not be surprised to constantly read in the deep and almost gentle sincerity Roosh marshals, constantly reminding the reader that there are no marauding Gothic tribes anywhere in sight; instead, we're simply interacting, having a chat with a fellow human, with a view to having a good conversation at the very least. Importantly, he reminds that the reader "need[s] to let her know that you're a normal, safe guy who isn't going to humiliate her in front of a crowd or stab her in the throat.

Unlike many books purporting to teach men how to meet women, Day Bang is one that women and men should both enjoy.

Consider the often-heard female complaint, echoed through the media and Hollywood: "Where have all the good men gone?!"

Women pass these good men on the street daily. Yet since women do not actively engage men they pass by on the streets in conversation, millions of compatible men and women sail past each other like two ships in the night.

Day Bang helps men who are already interesting, meet women. There is no "fake it until you make it" talk. A man who has nothing interesting to say, Roosh notes throughout the book, shouldn't blame women for not listening. The man should live a life worthy of interesting conversation.

Day Bang is not filled with parlor tricks. Nor does it encourage PUA tactics like palm readings and negs. Rather, Day Bang shows men who have put the work into themselves how to better meet women.

How then could any woman object to Day Bang? Probably Day Bang's only critics are those women who do not want to meet interesting men.

I give Day Bang and unqualified five stars, and have purchased many copies for friends.

There are many PUA books, it seems, on the market these days. Invariably, they all tend to boast to offer the panacea in some form for all those who wish to unlock the mystery of seducing women into the bedroom. For a lot of men, approaching beautiful women in public settings during the day poses a formidable challenge. But, alas, Day Bang offers a blueprint for converting those otherwise awkward and intimidating social situations into viable and enjoyable encounters that can be manipulated into sexual relationships. What sets this book apart is the intensive analysis and emphasis on the subtleties in female thought and behavior, as well as the terrific nuances that accompany every approach. It also offers a scalable step-by-step approach that teaches you how to approach, interact, and build attraction with women you would otherwise find too intimidating to speak with.

I can't recommend this book enough. It has earned its place in the collection of any serious student of game.

Day Bang is a comprehensive guide to meeting women during the day at pretty much any venue you can imagine, and I highly recommend it to any man who has the confidence and courage to approach women during the day. Roosh has spent a long time refining his day game system, and his book is the result of hundreds if not thousands of hours of trials, experimentation and polishing. Day Bang is a subtle, complex book.

At a first glance though, it doesn't seem subtle at all. It actually feels suspiciously easy. There are no complex routines. There is no elaborate hierarchy of the stages of attraction. There is very little to memorize. The book itself is full of examples of successful daytime approaches, but they are presented as exactly that - examples, rather than gospel to commit to memory and regurgitate. Instead, Day Bang suggests men take a more natural, relaxed, and less eager-to-impress attitude towards day game.

The entire book is about presenting yourself as a safe, sane, interesting, attractive person, in the most effective way possible. This is something most men already feel they know how to do. But check your ego and recognize that you might still have a thing or two to learn. I consider myself at the top of the class, social-savvy-wise, and Day Bang still had plenty to instruct me on.

I will add one caveat before you buy it however: Day Bang is not a magic potion or a book of spells that will enable you to bed any woman you want, solely with the tools Roosh gives you. In fact, most of the conversational skills you will learn in the book are focused on getting a girl to ask you about your interesting life. If you can't deliver the goods when that moment comes, you're in trouble.
