This is my longtime searching cd. I finally got it and it blows my mind! Very nice music and I'd recommend for soundtrack collectors or Delerue fans.

When it comes to the film scores of Georges Delerue what can one say? Pure poetry? I believe so. In the case of DAY OF THE DOLPHIN he combines and intertwines so many elements from the thriller genre to the beauty of life by man and mamal to the most intimate relationships of love for what God has created and the world we live in. There is good and evil in the world we live in. Georges Delerue reaches out to the heart on a great emotion level in segments of this score that simply bring tears to one's eyes. The Bonus Track "The Theme From The Day of the Dolphin" sums that up beatifuly and quite emotionaly. I believe that is shear poetry.
