This soundtrack, like the remake of the film, I found lacking. I was really hoping to like this music, (as well as the remake of the film), but just couldn't do it. I just found the music to be flat and rather unemotional. For me when I listen to a soundtrack to a movie if it has been well done should evoke emotions and feelings that I experienced during the movie. Since in this case I found the movie flat, unemotional and unmoving the music did absolutely nothing for me. My mistake was that I bought the soundtrack before seeing the movie, (I was over optimistic). I would recommend the soundtrack to the original film; it is much better; as is the movie.

Great Movie...Nothing like the orginal but overall a very good flick. Liked the orginal better but really they are 2 different movies with the same name, they are some things that are the same such as Gort and somewhat the overall theme but this movie is really worth your time to sit down and watch, stunning visual afects.
