I like the way they incorporated the past Rangers story line and entwined it into this series.

I watched this when it first aired of tv. I'll always love the power rangers, this is definitely a good watch.
Tommy is back in this series, Dr. O has some tricks up his sleeve from the good ol days of being a ranger.

My oldest son watched this when it was new and now my youngest is watching with him. It's great to see them enjoying this together.

I have seen the entire season of Dino Thunder and quite enjoyed it. I must admit I wasn't sure what my thoughts would be on Tommy as a high school teacher since I remember him as a high school student in the original Power Rangers, when he was the Green Ranger.

I did find that there were some episodes I liked, some I didn't quite as much and some I really feel in love with. As a whole I did like the new Rangers they introduced as a team in Conner, Ethan, and Kira. As for Trent who, come in only a few episodes into the season, I did have a soft spot for him I guess mostly because he had way too many similarities to Tommy. But it was nice to see Tommy as a Ranger and a mentor to the group. As for Haley, I wasn't sure what to think of her at first, but I did like her by the end of the show. As for Cassidy and Devin, though the comdey relief for the show at times, they were a nice supporting cast to round out the show.

At times yes, I thought the villains of the show were a little silly, even some of the comments were also, but for the most part, I did enjoy the show. I did feel in some ways it was a little more 'grown up' then it was in the original series, (though these rangers did have very real teenage/grown up problems as well) But I do understand this is a kids' show and there is about ten years or more of a difference in what has changed since then. Though when it comes down to it, the problems Tommy had as a teen, and as a Ranger, aren't that different than what his teammates are faced with now that he is a teacher.

5 year old absolutely gets lost watching
He takes a quick moment ever so often to run to me to say "thank you, Nana, thank you, thank you for letting me watch. When he isn't watching he is telling me what kind of armor each particular character has - describing it in detail. Or when they get a new fighting tool, I hear him squeal with delight. He calls out to tell me about it. So excited.

In my opinion Power Rangers Dino Thunder Season 1 is one of the best of the Power Ranger series. It had action, wit and the return of Tommy as the Black ranger. Emma Lahana not only made an excellent Yellow Ranger but she also has an incredible singing talent.

Nephew loved it and since I'm a prime member I didn't have to pay for it. If I didn't have prime I would have paid the rental fee especially since it's so low. It entertained my nephew and that's what's important to me.
