Paris Permenter and John Bigley are a husband-and-wife team of travel writers. Longtime residents of central Texas, they live in Leander. They have written about their state and other destinations for numerous magazines and newspapers, including Reader's Digest, Texas Highways, and Austin American-Statesman.
