5.0 out of 5 stars A Day or Two in the Napa Valley
" A Day or Two in the Napa Valley " is the most informative guide on the region I've ever read...bar none ! I loved the easy to follow " Wine Tour " itineraries already laid out for new visitors to follow. Having never been to the area, and with only a couple of days to spend, it answered virtually every question we had in planning our visit. The great " Insider Tips " in...

2.0 out of 5 stars Very little but fluff--white zinfandel anyone??
I have never been to Napa/Sonoma, so I can't speak to the accuracy of this book. However, of the 123 pages in the book I break it down like this:
2 pages telling you to GET A MAP. kthx!!
14 pages of technicalities (how to get there, what city to fly into...I'll give you a hint: think Rice-A-Roni, the <u-guess-it> treat!)
9 pages on How To Taste Wine...

I have never been to Napa/Sonoma, so I can't speak to the accuracy of this book. However, of the 123 pages in the book I break it down like this:

14 pages of technicalities (how to get there, what city to fly into...I'll give you a hint: think Rice-A-Roni, the <u-guess-it> treat!)
9 pages on How To Taste Wine
20 pages on other things to do in Napa (hot air ballooning!!! minigolf!!!!)
72 pages on 10 sample tours of Napa

So a) half the book is NOT ABOUT WINE TOURS and b) the 10 sample tours are just sad. They often include Sutter Home. I am not making this up.
