Prayer Book
I read this book daily and love it. The "old English" used sometimes takes a couple readings but you won't be disappointed.

Choose a better compilation.
I've tried to like "Day by Day We Magnify Thee," but I can't get around Luther's prolix, the translators scholarly style forced into a devotional book, and the editor's choices of excerpts. There are a few valuable jewels here, but you'll have to dig to find them. Instead, pick up a used copy of the out of print, "Devotional Readings from Luther's Works for Every Day of...
