This simple little book made planning our daughter's wedding so easy. She and her fiance live in Florida and the wedding was being held in New York. We corresponded all the time by e-mail and this book fit in so perfectly. By using the web-sites that were listed in the book it gave us a starting point and basically in the 14 days that they claimed it could be done, it was! Don and Sandra's book took alot out of the surfing time looking for services and gave us an edge when we shopped the advertised vendors, that they highlighted in the book, when we mentioned we saw their web site mentioned in the book. This is definately a great bridal handbook for planning a long distance wedding and most probably will be a great guidebook for my next child getting married in the fall of 2000. This book also makes a great engagement gift for those newly engaged couples.

We recieved the book from a promotion. It was easy reading and guided us step by step through what we thought would be a difficult process. It was basically effortless as we followed the tips and applied them to our situation.

If you know nothing about the internet, and have no idea where to start looking for wedding information, then you can use this book. But if you're like most people (if you're at this site reading this, you already know more than this book can tell you) this book is useless. You can get more out of the internet by going to any search engine and typing in "wedding." Seriously, try it, that's more than this book has to offer. Don't waste your money.

I found this book to be totally useless. The information it provides is very basic, and you could find the web sites it recommends easily enough with a search engine. It's a small book, and much of it is taken up with screen shots of the recommended web sites, which is pointless. And it's obvious that not only hadn't the book been proofread, but they didn't even run a spell check on it.

I want to thank the authors for a lot of money saving tips and advice I haven't seen anywhere else. I especially liked the checklists that covered every detail of what I needed to do, and when. We didn't have a lot of time to plan, and this book made it possible in less time than I ever imagined!! The internet info was nice, but I didn't really use it, except for the tips about hiring limos that could save your wedding from ruin! Carry this book with you while planning. You'll be glad you did. (Plus it was fun to read!)
