Hey everyone! How is everyone doing? Good I hope. I have to say that I just bought Before Dark's debut today And I have to admit these girls got Skillz! I hope they and my gals So Plush join the ranks of Heavy Hitmaking femme groups such as Destiny's Child, 702, Blaque, TLC< etc. Please get a copy of this c.d. if you haven't got it already. Y'all won't be disappointed! Other hot releases that are must-haves are EnVogue's latest disc, Lucy Pearl's, Metherone, and My boyz Next's Welcome to Nextasy disc! I love that c.d. to DEATH! Get that especially. God Bless and Bye.

I brought this CD back in 2000, when I was 18 and now that I'm about to turn 23, I can still remember when I bought this CD. I thought this was a great CD and these girls had it all, talent, personality,looks, and a great production team, but one thing they didn't have was great promotion.
They became one of my favorite groups of 2000, after my dissapointment over Destiny's Child (with them kicking out my girls LeToya and Latavia) along with "So Plush", another girl group who had good voices and talent, but were lost in the tidal wave of Destiny's Child (the new group with Beyonce, Kelly, and Michelle). I would love to see "Before Dark" have a reunion. It would be great.

Before Dark didn't get alot of play in 2000. I guess cause the world was so hyped up on *NSYNC and Britney Spears. But like Kelis's CD, if you slept on it, you need to pick it up. Songs like "Daydream", "Baby" and "Always On My Mind" reflect the girls' crush-on-you vibe. The lead single "Monica" is a hip-hop/R&B hybrid. It got some radio buzz, but the video didn't do well. On "As Far As They Know", the girls sing about hiding their lover from their friends. With perfect harmonies (check out the "Given So Much" interlude) and bouncy beats (peep "Tough Love" and the Lil' Shawn featured "Push N' Shove"), Before Dark's album should be in everybody's CD deck.
