5.0 out of 5 stars Daydreams Undertaken, June 25, 2004

Great set of short stories. I'm not much for sci-fi so it was nice that this collection offered plenty of creative settings with unique and interesting characters and plots.

5.0 out of 5 stars What A GREAT first novel, May 30, 2004
This review is from: Daydreams Undertaken (Paperback)
This is an excellent book. Filled with great scifi/fantasy stories. Author has really done a great job in capturing his characters and story lines.

A must read for all scifi/fantasy fans. And a must read for non fantasy fans also because this will quickly make you a scifi/fantasy fan.

5.0 out of 5 stars Playful and Imaginative, August 10, 2005
This review is from: Daydreams Undertaken (Paperback)
I rarely read short stories because I rarely find any that satisfy me. Even when I find a writer who can write them well, usually an anthology of their work is still hit or miss, bad stories among the good.

There are no bad stories in this book. More to the point, ALL the stories in this book are GOOD.

Reading these tales we see an imagination at work that is agile, thoughtful, and playful. Stephen Antczak is a writer to keep an eye on.

5.0 out of 5 stars Encompassing Work, June 2, 2004
By A Customer
This review is from: Daydreams Undertaken (Paperback)
What a pleasure to find such smart sci-fi/fantasy under one cover. Each night before bed I took a fresh new journey under Antczak's careful construction. A couple of my favorites were Virtual Day, in which we meet a vampire who's obsessed with the sun, and Captain Asimov, about a service robot who becomes convinced he's a super hero. This is great stuff for any reader who appreciates good fiction.

5.0 out of 5 stars Daydreams Undertaken, June 2, 2004
By A Customer
This review is from: Daydreams Undertaken (Paperback)
A dear friend introduced me to the world of written sci-fi through this book and I am so appreciative.
At the beginning of each story the author refreshingly juxtaposes the realty of his life at the conception of each story with the creative journey into the thrilling genre of sci-fi.
I highly recommend this book. Your daydreams will never be the same again.
