More About the Author

Peter Dunn realized that he wanted to deal with money when he was in his sixth-grade math class. The teacher gave the class a stock-market project, and Pete was hooked.

Like many young people, Pete went through a nasty day trading habit in college. He did well, but his nerves took a beating. Two years into the "real world," Pete started a financial advising company, Advanced Planning Solutions.

Pete wrote his first book, "What Your Dad Never Taught You About Budgeting," in 2006 and is the host of the popular radio show "Skills Your Dad Never Taught You" on News Talk 1430 (WXNT). He's also the mastermind behind WISH-TV8's "60 Days to Change" and appears regularly on FOX News and "Studio B with Shepard Smith." When not wrapped up in writing or dabbling in broadcast, Pete moonlights as "Pete the Planner," his super-saving radio alter ego.

Pete was named one of "Indy's Best and Brightest" in finance in 2007 and media in 2009 by KPMG, and was declared one of NUVO magazine's "30 under 30 to Watch in the Arts" for comedy. "60 Days to Change" is his second book.

Pete currently lives in Carmel, Indiana with his wife, Sarah, and his daughter, Olivia.

Peter nailed it on how to get your finances in order and start taking control of 'mindless spending'. His background as a comedian makes this THE most interesting financial book out there.
