4.0 out of 5 stars Get the book!! Vital Info to Prepare for a PLANNED Famine.
This book documents US, UN, World Govt efforts and rich men's efforts (Rockefeller, Rothschild, large food production owners, etc) to control the world's food supply and production, so they can dominate nations and peoples. There is much documentation!! No one will tell you this, because they are all working for Global Government and self-intrest. They want money and...

Worth Reading. Some very disturbing issues and facts. Some may seem extreme but since the 60's we've seen the local farms disappearing, now corporate farms. We have schools that no longer teach. We seen family values disappear. We see American business deserting this country for greater profits in other countries. Who thought 30 years ago we would be killing over a million unborn babies each year.

All we hear about today is being part of the global community. Who's behind the move; no one I know ot talk too. Don't be caught or surprised when we see this taking place.

Read the book and decide for yourself.

There is much documentation!! No one will tell you this, because they are all working for Global Government and self-intrest. They want money and CONTROL over you. Even Pope John Paul II is said to know about these plans, but he is not warning the people in the Catholic Church or anyone else; it seems the Vatican is in leauge with the one world government folks on this one. There is practical advice on how to prepare for coming PLANNED famine, and possible Y2K problems. Very valuable!! It will open your eyes, and document. Also ties Biblical Prophecy to the coming events of wars, famines, plauges, pestilence to come upon mankind that has rejected God in favor of self, money, control of others. This will help you get your priorities of God, family straight. This is especially written for Born Again Christians, but sounds the alarm with compassion for all mankind, out of concern for everyone's well being because no large organization will tell you about these things!! Other links to check such things out [online]. An aside, good deal on long distance to tell others about this...

5.0 out of 5 stars A Christian Viewpoint, April 15, 2002
By A Customer
This review is from: Days of Hunger, Days of Chaos (Paperback)
His critics dismiss Texe Marrs with the label "Fundamentalist Christian." So be it. But at least he takes a stand. At least he reads the Bible of his faith. At least he applies it to the world around him.

I like Marrs' books. They have the excitement of conspiracy theory. But grounded in Bible study. If you don't believe in the Bible (or are afraid your friends will think you're a nut if you do) you probably won't like his books. But if you're into Bible prophecy, and use the Christian Bible to guide your life, then I think you'll appreciate Marrs' perspective.

I'll admit, I try not to put any Christian writer on a pedestal. God is still the definitive Author. But there's a place for writers who use the Bible to comment on current events. I appreciate the work they do. Especially when it prompts me to go back and read Bible passages they've pointed out.

So, Mr. Marrs: I thank you for taking so much flak, yet still keeping the faith. And I eagerly await your next book.

1.0 out of 5 stars Oh, come off it Texe!, July 16, 1999

This review is from: Days of Hunger, Days of Chaos (Paperback)
Yet another conspiratorial bottom dweller in the literary market. No value whatsoever if one is looking for truth. One must remember that to disagree with Marrs is to be labled "stupid" by him--something he has done on radio programs. This is also the same man who had a guest on the air contending the moon landings were faked; what really makes this remarkable is that Marrs was an Air Force officer!

1.0 out of 5 stars This book is absolute trash!, September 26, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Days of Hunger, Days of Chaos (Paperback)
Texe Marrs has lost it this time! His writing is so full of hate and slander that one gets the impression from reading his books that ONLY TEXE MARRS IS RIGHT, AND ONLY HE IS QUALIFIED TO WARN THE WORLD OF IMPENDING DOOM. What utter nonsense! How anyone can give him any credibility is beyond me!

However, I must compliment Texe Marrs on one thing: he does give equal time to everyone! By that I mean that he slanders the New World Order Crowd and other Christian writers and leaders with equal hate and visciousness. He has even accused respected Christian authors Hal Lindsey and Tim LaHaye of being secret satanic cult members. Wow! Give me a break, Marrs!! What qualifies you to make such slanderous accusations? What credentials do you yourself have, other than having been a twenty-year Air Force Officer who only achieved the rank of Captain after twenty years of service!! That's right, folks. Marrs entered the Air Force as a Second Lieutenant, was later promoted to First Lieutenant, and was finally retired as only a Captain after twenty years of service. That's only three grades up from the bottom! This tells me (a former military officer myself) that he was passed-over for promotion so many times that he was eventually forced to retire as a lowly Captain with little responsiblity.! Few people really understand these military matters. However, I do Marrs. Yeh,I'm really impressed with your "highly esteemed" military career, Marrs! Sure! Right!

Indeed, Marrs would have us believe that his military career helped him acquire the expertise that enables him to produce the kinds of literary trash this book is. Nonsense! You now know the truth!

Recently, I've even heard rumors that the IRS has revoked Texe Marrs' religious 501(c)(3) tax-exempt ministry status and fined him heavily for misappropriating ministry funds.

Again, I'm really impressed with your hypocritical nature, Marrs, because you spend so much time in your books warning us about all those "greedy, filthy, New World Order men" who themselves pursue "filthy money." Could this not be your true objective as well, Texe?

It is my firm opinion that Marrs is a hypocrite! He has no credibility in my mind whatsoever. Could Marrs be the truly evil one here? I think so.

Don't waste your time or money on any of his books, including this one!
