Lois Ann Murphy earned a BA and MA in English from Stephen F. Austin University in Nacogdoches, Texas. She taught English at SFA and later at Angelina College in Lufkin, Texas. Now retired, Lois and her husband, Ken, enjoy hiking, traveling, and spending time with their four daughters.
