I am a huge fan of Days. This cd is so great. My Favorite song is Oh Bo! Every fan should own this cd.

I love days of our lives. When I saw this cd I knew I had to have it! All the tracks on it I reconize from the show. I think that the best track is who is Gina. if you dont already have the cd buy it now it is worth the price. Applause to amazon for the low price and fast delivery.

This CD covers many of the techno music from Days, and I recognize many of the tracks from the show. I listen for it all the time, and I cant wait for another one to come out!

It is surprising to note that this music was actually written Ken Corday -- head of the show. With someone else of course... reminiscent of David Lynch/Angelo Badalamenti in more ways than one. It is exciting to listen to and perfectly conveys the entire tone of the show. My friends and I like to play charades to it, especially to the song, "Sami" because it's so sneaky and conniving! Just like the character! Perfect mood music!

I love the show, and this compact disc is a complement to my Days video collection (I record it everyday!) Overall it is a nice CD and I think if the producers of the show should make another one, they should include more theme music from the bad people of the show (Stefano, Evil Gina, Sami, etc.)Those are my most favorite themes. No matter what's on it, if you love Days you'll love this CD and I thought it was a good idea of Corday Productions to make it. I LOVE DAYS OF OUR LIVES NO MATTER WHAT!

When I heard that DAYS came out w/ a soundtrack, I was expecting songs that played from the show or the song that Bo sang to Hope on their wedding day, etc. Each track is TOO short and pointless. You only listen to it to go, "oh, that's when they're headed for the emergency room," and "Oh, that's when they're in the bayou." Each track seems to last less than 30 seconds. Most of them sound the same. HOWEVER, I did love the love themes. My favorite is the John & Marlena one. I just wish they'd play the music longer. It's so pretty. I was sad that they didn't include the music when Hope woke up on her wedding day (the day that Bo & Billie were stranded on Smith Island). I remembered that piece of music vividly and thought it was so beautiful. If Days should come out a 2nd instrumental soundtrack, I hope to hear longer pieces, not short itty witty ones. I heard that Ken Corday composed all these pieces. He's real talented.

Anyway, the CD is less than [amt] right now, so buy it if you're a big fan, otherwise, don't.

The best part of this cd is you get the original opening title music in its entirety, not the very shortened version used in the present day shows. It also has the COMPLETE theme heard during the closing credits years ago. Today there is no theme played at all during the credits. The network uses that time to advertise their upcoming primetime shows. I thought since this is an old cd, and not the new soundtrack release of 2010, it would have the beautiful melodic orchestral themes heard during DAYS golden age. But instead we are given music that is not melodic by any means. There is a lot of percussion and sounds like music created electronically in the studio and not by the orchestra they used to use always. Main characters and couples used to have such beautiful melodic themes heard in variations throughout their stories. That is not the case with today's DOOL. I will not listen to it again. Once was enough for me. I'll copy the themes into iTunes and sell the cd at a loss on Ebay. To me, this purchase was a great disappointment.

I did enjoy the majority of the music on this cd. But being a fan of the Marty Davitch era (1970's-early 90's), I wasn't pleased. Don't get me wrong...many of these pieces are memorable to storyline's, but they are short in length and lack the power of Marty's work. There are a handful of tracks that have been used multiple times over a few years (i.e. 'Emergency Room', 'Sami', 'John and Marlena', etc.) but the rest seem to be specific to certain SHORT RUN s/l's. If you weren't into these specific s/l's they may be forgettable to you.

I rated it a 3/5 because the music is good and at times it did bring back memories for me, but it is NOTHING compared to the earlier compositions. It lacks the PASSION of the earlier music.

I still wish Marty's music will officially be released someday. I'll be over the moon when that happens, and I will give THAT a 5/5 most definitely!

I thought that this CD was truly excellent. My favorite songs are Who is Gina? and Hiding in the Shadows. Some of the songs sound the same as others, but the price and right and I really enjoyed the CD.

I am looking for the song Tonight I Celebrate My Love For You,the theme song played in Bo and Hope's wedding on Days Of Our Lives. Can you please help me? This is for my wedding Aug.28th. Thank You, Sheila White
