Book Description

A paranormal horror novel, about 106,000 words or 424 pages; DRM free.
For the fans of Stephen King and Dean Koontz.

First, his wife went missing.
Then he lost his memory.
Now he has to remember where he buried the body.

Frank Fowler is having a bad year: he is about to remember that his wife's family is a gang of sadists controlled by a monster...

With the last six years of his life wiped out of his memory, Frank suspects he may have murdered his wife Kelly, who vanished three days before the car crash that caused his amnesia. The bad news is his wife's family has the same suspicions.

Things take a darker turn when Frank realizes that his vindictive in-laws will stop at nothing to make him remember what he has done to their beloved sister and where he buried her body. The situation gets even more complicated as an anonymous blackmailer accuses Frank of the murder and demands money to keep silent.

As memories trickle back to him, Frank is still unable to figure out why he slaughtered Kelly and what happened to his accomplice. He is not even sure he has nothing to do with the disappearance of his young daughter, who went missing a few months earlier.

Frank's search for answers becomes a fight for survival after he rediscovers that his wife's relatives are a clique of ruthless serial kidnappers serving a mysterious one-legged man. His chances are slim: one of the in-laws is a cop and another is a multimillionaire.

However, the question still remains: Why are these people so hell-bent on getting hold of Kelly's dead body? And why do they blindly follow every whim of their master? Is the one-legged man even human?

His options are limited: he either finds his wife--dead or alive--or dies. In his race against time Frank has all the clues to the puzzle, he just needs to remember them before it's too late.

Unfortunately, Frank has no idea that he is in for the biggest shock of his life...

5.0 out of 5 stars Couldn't put this book down January 10, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition
First, I would like to say that I couldn't put this book down. It is full of twists and keeps you interested from the beginning to the end. Every chapter reveals answers but also raises new terrifying questions.

The main character of the novel, Frank Fowler, gets into a car accident and loses several years worth of memories. From the very beginning we know that someone is blackmailing Frank about the murder of his wife Kelly. There is an amazing twist about the blackmailer, which I will not spoil for you. There were a lot of hints that Frank killed his wife and I didn't really know how to feel about him. I realized that he may be a murderer, but at the same time I suspected that Kelly had a dark secret which provoked Frank to take her life. Even when I found out that he was cheating on Kelly with another woman, I still gave him the benefit of the doubt.

In the first chapters it is shown that Kelly's relatives are insane and vengeful. Suffice it to say, they murdered Kelly's dad, and the most horrible thing is Kelly participated in this killing. We now know that Frank is dealing with a murderous gang which kidnaps and kills people on a regular basis.

Is Frank going to survive? Why do Kelly's relative kidnap people? And whose body is in the steel plated safe whose location Frank is trying to remember? The answers to these questions will astonish you.

There are a lot of little clues and hints that point to the big secret. Tim Kizer ties all the ends at the conclusion of the book, but hints at the possibility of a sequel. I hope there is a follow-up to "Days of Vengeance" because I am very curious to see what happens to Frank next.

5.0 out of 5 stars The ending of the novel left me absolutely speechless. January 22, 2012
By Z Ralte
Format:Kindle Edition
I loved this book. A friend recommended it to me and I read it in one day since the story immediately sucked me in and I couldn't wait to find out what happens next. The novel is well written, has plenty of twists and keeps a fast pace. There are a lot of exciting moments in "Days of Vengeance" that grab your attention.
The book focuses on a thirty-something man named Frank, whose wife went missing under suspicious circumstances. Unfortunately, Frank lost his memory a few days after his wife's disappearance and now is unsure whether he murdered her. A few shocking twists await the reader in the very beginning of the novel. For example, we find out that Frank's wife's relatives are psychopathic killers. But I must say that this is not a book about serial killers; this novel is much more complex and intricate than that. There are many more secrets ahead, each more stunning than the previous one. The ending of the novel left me absolutely speechless.
In conclusion, I would like to say that I enjoyed "Days of Vengeance" a lot and am glad I bought it. It's definitely worth your time.

4.0 out of 5 stars Really good story...but September 17, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition
The story was really interesting, great premise, and very imaginative. The editing was really bad, to the point of being distracting with character names being mixed up among other noticeable errors. I realize that this is not a publishing house selection, but next time find a more attentive reader to proof it. I am still giving it high marks, it kept my attention.
