Book Description

September 9, 2011
The 10 days between Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year, and Yom Kippur, the Day of Repentance, are called the High Holy Days or the Days of Awe. They are a time for Jews--or anyone--to go inward and consider how to "do t'shuvah," to turn back to God and to their best selves. This book provides 10-days of exercises to help you go through this introspective process used during the High Holy Days. It gives structure to the Days of Awe so you can truly consider not only your sins and how to rectify them but how to achieve your full human potential. Use this human potential tool that crosses religious lines to return to your best self--and to source--in just 10 awesome days. During the 10 days you will contemplate: Sins Against Other People Sins Against Yourself Sins Against God Turning Toward Your Best Self Your Soul Purpose Your Human Potential Honesty Communication Payoffs Faith Readers are encouraged to continue the process each week, using the Sabbath as a time to go inward and again turn to God and to their best selves or to use the 10-day process more than once a year if they like. The book is conveniently formatted in a small size (4" x 6 ") so it fits in a purse or pocket and can be carried easily during the 10 days a reader chooses to work with the process.

Nina is a seasoned journalist, editor, writing and author coach; maggid (Jewish inspirational speaker); Kabbalistic conscious creation coach; and the regular holiday and spirituality expert on Conversations with Mrs. Claus, a weekly podcast heard in more than 90 countries and downloaded by 130,000 listeners per month. She holds a BA in magazine journalism from Syracuse University’s S.I Newhouse School of Public Communication with a concentration in psychology, is a certified life coach, a certified rebirther, and is trained as a Tarot reader and as a Voice Dialogue facilitator. Therefore, she writes, speaks and teaches from a place of knowing that what has worked for her will at least provide others with a starting place from which to find what works best for them. She lives in the Santa Cruz Mountains above Los Gatos, CA, with her husband and two children.

Nina Amir gives us a great tool to change our lives. Her book is a reminder of the importance of following a guide to hit your target and using this guide can lead to remarkable changes in our daily lives. Although written from a jewish prospective the words transcend and apply to any religion. I can't wait to practice and use the tool for the rest of my life. Moving towards my target and hoping to reach my full potential. Thanks Nina.
