This speaker wire is definitely worth the money. Great twist ratio, excellent quality copper. Would reccommend this to anyone.

12 Gauge Dayton,

This wire is great. it looks good and is easy to Strip with automatic strippers. they fit perfectly into Pin connectors. I've had this same roll for a long time and will probably get more, maybe 100 ft. roll, who knows. I highly recommend this to anyone wanting some good wire that looks really pretty. for some reason 50 ft always goes fast with me, same happened when I got 50 ft of 14 gauge before I started using this. the sound coming from this is great. Here's what I think, the bigger the better the more overkill. if My speakers are 4 ft. from the amp I will use 12 gauge for example.

Deeply disappointed,

This review is from: Dayton Audio SKRL-12-50 12 AWG OFC Speaker Wire 50 ft. (Electronics)
Bought this cable to upgrade my old 18 AWG speaker cables (generic brand) for a 2-ch audio speaker setdup. The price was steep, but I thought "the thicker the better" (12 vs 18 AWG). To my disappointment, the sounds from my speakers using this cable is far inferior to my old 18 AWG cables. The audio was covered with fog, the volume level was weaker, and the clarity was gone.
I thought I'd need a decent "burn-in" time so I spent days playing music to improve the sounds. No improvements! I wanted to return this cable, but I had already cut 12ft out of the original 50ft. I've had good experience with other Dayton Audio products, but this speaker cable is not. Avoid this "Made in Taiwan" speaker cable. Hope you'll try other brands.
