This is my first center channel speaker and I must say that it sounds good. I'm using monster cable speaker wire in place of the supplied thin wire. Voices come in clear and precise and it seems to be very well detailed. There's no need for me to ever upgrade from this speaker. I'm pleased with my purchase.

I have had this center speaker (mounted directly above my wall mounted 55" flat screen)and I am so glad I made this purchase. The sound is crisp and clear, even on the highest volume of my sony surround sound. The price was way below anything comparable!!!! Biggest bang for your buck!!

I bought the dayton ccs33b speaker to function as a center speaker for 5.1 surround system and to replace a poor quality center speaker that was included in an RCA system. The dayton speaker has great clarity and functions well. Please note that I am not a audio guru and our 5.1 system is largely composed of in-wall and in-ceiling speakers from lowes. The dayton is a great addition though and would highly recommend it!

I picked this up to use for an old 5.1 system for my son to watch his kids shows. Price was the main factor in my purchase.

Pros:
-- Sound. This sounds pretty good for the price. I figured it would be very tinny and loud (bad loud). I was very surprised at the mixed dynamic. The voices can be a bit high when played loud but at lower volumes they are very clear.
-- Size. It's wide and sturdy. Not as wide as more expensive center channels, but come on, what are you looking at here. It doesn't feel like it's made of cheap balsa wood or plastic which is a bonus.
-- Price. A center channel for under 30 bucks, come on. If you complain about the price you would complain about anything.
-- Worry. There is no worry involved with this unless you are super cost-conscious. Like I said, I bought it for my son. I never have to worry about if it gets poked, scratched, knocked over, etc. If it does, so be it. I'll pick up another one.

Cons:
-- None. While it's far from an audiohile quality center channel, I don't think you can find a fault for under 30 bucks.

If you're looking for a decent center channel that simply "does the job" without having to worry about if it gets poked, knocked over, etc., this is for you.

This is a great speaker. It sounds nice and clear and seems to be good quality. The only complaint I have is that it is all plastic, even the cover over the speakers. This doesn't really bother me because it is behind my television but I could see how it might bother someone who was mounting it on the wall or something because the rest of my speakers are wood with cloth covers over the speakers (doesn't really match.)

This is a well built speaker and it sounds great with my Onkyo TX sr606. Clear and crisp, for the money I don't think you can beat this speaker.

I was looking for an inexpensive outdoor center channel speaker when I found this one.Sound is better than I expected for the price.

was shocked how clear and crisp this speaker is, its a nice size and fits almost anywhere, deff would buy again and for the money u cant go wrong,

I bought this speaker to complete my surround sound. My receiver demands 8 ohms and this speaker meets this spec. Voices are loud and clear. I'm glad I didn't pay more. What a great deal!!
