"Daytona USA" has always been one of my favorite arcade games. When I heard that it was coming to the Sega Saturn, I knew I had to play it. Overall, it was a decent transition from the arcades to the Sega Saturn, but it does have a few flaws. It has the same race tracks and it's a lot like the arcade version, except that some of its graphics are pixelized in places and it doesn't seem like it's as fast paced as the arcade classic. The control also isn't the best. However, the sound and fun factor are true to the arcade predecessor.

If you like great racing games or if you used to like playing "Daytona USA" in the arcades, I wouldn't recommend buying this one, but it is a good game to rent.

Daytona USA for the Sega Saturn is a good racing game with great graphics just like the arcade version, but it's not quite as fast paced or as fun as it is in the arcades. It's not a perfect port from the arcades to the Sega Saturn, but it's good enough. It's hard to tell where you have to go on certain levels and some of the graphics have pixels in them, but overall it's not a bad racing game. If you want a solid racing game for the Saturn, Daytona USA is a pretty good catch.

I have a sega saturn which I bought in a flea market on for [money] and I got this game with my saturn with two other games and I think its great. I have a DC also and Daytona USA was also made on the DC but I decide to bye it on the saturn. It has nice graphics and good car handling controls. I am glad I bought it for saturn. Good game. Thank you.

Although Daytona USA may not have the best of graphics, I still think that the racing part is still pretty good. Although there isn't many tracks (Just a beginner, advanced, and expert), I can still survive with just three, caring more about not having good control of the car and spinning out all the time. Still worth getting.

The Good old days, playing Sega Saturn,VF 2, VC 1 and 2, Daytona Usa and a demo or two. still have my system. I remember in Daytona USA when you would pass Jeffrey on one of the tracks and you could turn him around by pressing the buttons. And also when you passed under the Overpass on the Main track with the slots. Very cool Game.

Delivery was fast.
Game was a little cracked on the back of the case but oh well!
Game works perfectly.

See, the Problem with this game is the choppy frame rate, the less then average graphics, and the poorly control system. They contribute to this game sucking compaired to its Arcade predicessor, If you want Daytona USA on your Sega Saturn, Pick up Championship Circuit Edition, It has 2 extra tracks, more cars, better graphics, 3D controller support, New soundtrack, better frame rate with less frame skip and the tracks are actualy labeled ;)

Overall, this game was a shameful port but not completely terrible, it goes for about 5 bucks so its worth the money. but if you have 5 more dollars pick up Daytona USA CCE.

This game is fun! I bought it for my son (age 6). But my wife and I play it too. The shipping time was quick, the price is good, and I recommend it to anyone who has a Sega Saturn and wants a racing car game.

Even to this day DAYTONA USA is my favorite Arcade game. It's still even found in arcades around the world ten years or so after it was released. The arcade may only have 3 tracks to choose from, but it is it's multi player compedativeness that has given it it's awsome fun.

But bringing this game to the PC and Satrun did not bring the fun factor with it. It was pretty much the same game. There was a horse you could get if you won all races in a row (the arcade you actualy got a FWD type of car!) but the fun factow with the PC and Saturn versions where not there. The saturn version was only 2 players if you could hook it up to another Saturn.. and the PC version I think had a network game you could go to using the net, but I never tried it.

It was too hard to control the cars with joypads, and even using a steerwheel joypad if you had one didnt make it anywhere near as much fun as the Arcade.

I used to play this game when I was a kid and it was so much fun. Now that I am an adult I decided I wanted to relive the experience. I am assuming the game is just the same, but the one I ordered doesn't work.
It plays like a CD instead of a video game.
