Product Description

DeFeet? DeCompressor competition socks provide moderate graduated calf compression, tested to 20-40 mmHg. Wear them for running, cycling, travel, or the workplace. The DeCompressor features a thin Levitator Lite foot bed for lightweight breathability and quick drying. Abundant calf compression helps improve return circulation, relieve leg fatigue, prevent cramping of calf muscles and decrease swelling in ankles and feet. Originally marketed to those with compromised circulatory systems, many people now find everyday use of compression socks beneficial. Passengers on long flights wear compression socks to prevent circulatory problems, leg cramps and foot swelling due to fluid pooling in legs. Athletes often wear compression socks during competition to give their calf muscles additional support. Occupations requiring long periods of standing also benefit from compression socks.

4.0 out of 5 stars Did what it says, October 22, 2010

I'm an under 30 y.o., female marathon runner (run 2 a year, sub 3:30--Boston yearly). Socks are good, especially for the price--do exactly what they promise to. I wish they were tigheter at the achilles, but that's b/c of my injury. I use them after long run, not during, and they do their job.

5.0 out of 5 stars Finally, I found white compression socks for a man!, July 23, 2010

This review is from: DeFeet DeCompressor D-Logo Running/Cycling Compression Socks - DECOMB (Misc.)
I have tried to find white compression socks that will not run as soon as my hubby pulls them on. I have tried many.... but nothing was as good as the BLACK ribbed 30-40 mmhg socks.

My hubby's one calf has veins that look like intestines. The problems is he likes to wear white socks in the summer. It does not work in summer's heat to pull a white sock over the black to hide it.... too hot.

These are perfect! I bought him a size large for when he puts them on right after getting out of bed; and also a size xl for when his leg has already swollen. At this price I bought 4 pair!

1.0 out of 5 stars Terrible, December 12, 2011
This review is from: DeFeet DeCompressor D-Logo Running/Cycling Compression Socks - DECOMB (Misc.)
They look like T.E.D. socks with a Defeet logo on them...and they feel about the same as well. I purchased the appropriate size, XL, and I was not impressed at all.

My Sugoi compression socks are far and away better than these. The Sugoi compression socks are actually comfortable and they apply compression strategically to areas of the calf, while the Defeet socks are just tight all around and are spectacularly hard to put on.

After wearing them for about 5 mins, I threw them in the trash.
