DeLonghi DC122 12-Cup Automatic Drip Coffeemaker with Programmable Digital Timer

After ordering a couple of the more expensive coffee makers (then returning them for one reason or another) my husband and I decided to give the DeLonghi a try. We did not know much about this brand, but we have been very impressed with our new product. It has the cone-shaped filter we were looking for and an automatic timer so we can wake up to a freshly brewed pot of delicious coffee. We have found that we can use a little less coffee to obtain the same strength as before (probably because we previously had the basket filter), but even the stronger coffee is very good. The design of the coffee maker is practical and easy to use - and it looks good on our counter, too!

I've had De Longhi 12-cup Coffee maker for almost two years now and its still going strong. I'm particularly fond of its "permanent" filter - no more running out of coffee filters -- and 24 hr programmable feature - fresh morning coffee to wake up and start the day. I've recently brought my coffee make into the office to temporarily replace the one the gave up the ghost and I tell you, even a well known national brand of coffee comes out tasting like a gourmet coffee

I love this coffee pot so well that I just bought another one for our motorhome! I am SO spoiled with having my coffee ready for me every morning that I had to get one to take with us camping. We've hauled the one from the kitchen with us but now I don't have to worry about going off and forgetting it.....plus, the cord is long enough to reach the plugins! I do use a paper filter but it may be from our coffee being ground too fine. I haven't had any problems with pouring a cup while the coffee is brewing at all.

This is the SLOWEST coffee maker I have ever used - from the day we bought it, it was slow! It now takes 20 MINUTES to finish a pot. I have tried cleaning, makes no difference. I am buying a new pot (even though this one works fine otherwise) and it definitely will NOT be a DeLonghi
