It worked fine while it lasted. Some of the functions were annoying, but it was okay. Four months into our use it broke and nothing I did would fix it.

I liked the toaster up until it gasped its last breath. It had great features like "keep warm". But it dies after only a year and a half of use. Too expensive (and big) to be disposable!

I chose this toaster oven because of it's features, as described on-line, it's clean design and all black color - that matches my kitchen. I was very happy to receive the package and dumped my old toaster oven to the trash. I was very disappointed to realize that the products door was not connected on one side - what must be done before a assembly - and therefore it's useless, leaving me without a toaster oven that I need a few times a day! A poor assembly is a bad indication. I also realized that the toaster-oven does not have a timer!!!

I really like the Delonghi toaster ovens, and this is our second one, bought 3 years ago. Old one lasted 10-12 years. Works great as a toaster and also as a good-sized little oven, way better than the Oster and Black & Decker's we've owned.

Recently this one stopped working, no lights/no cooking/nothing. Turns out there's a thermal fuse in this unit (a $1.50 part) that's prone to fail. It's not impossible to repair if you're a bit handy with tools, but they don't make it easy. Uses Torx T20 screws with a pin in the center of the screw head - making a regular T20 screwdriver useless, VERY annoying. I had to drill out the screw head a bit before I could unscrew it. From there on it's a matter of replacing the thermal fuse that's crimped in-line in one of the black wires. Internet search for "delonghi toaster repair fuse" should give useful hits. Fuse is NTE part 8167.

Before I purchased this product I researched its features and compared it to many others. I chose it because it had the featues I wanted but even more because of THE VERY LONG SERVICE --25years of my old Delonghi broiler-and a long standing, well deserved reputation for quality products. I did not read the reviews, prior to odering, because I would never form an opinion based on four prior reviews. What they said may prove to be true as time goes on and if it is,I will write an updated review and become Delongi's worst spokesperson for their products!!! At this point I am satisfied with the quality of this product and I have found that Amazon(the seller)generally stands behind their products--and the don,t sell junk!!

This toaster oven is great. We've had it for over 2 years. It's stylish and fits 12" frozen pizzas (which was a must). However, I'm upset that the paint on the dials has rubbed off. Now, if someone hadn't used it before, they wouldn't be sure how to turn the oven on or dial up the toaster setting!
