Accompanied by a squeegee attachment for liquids, this compact hand vacuum cleans up both dirt and spills. It contains a long-lasting 6-volt battery that recharges with an AC adapter (included) for 20-minute use before a recharging is needed. Bagless, the vacuum has a removable, washable dirt cup that includes a permanent filter. The vacuum's suction opening is only 1-1/4 inches wide, so this vacuum is not for big jobs. There's also a crevice attachment with a 1-1/4-inch opening, but the squeegee is 3 inches wide. The vacuum can be mounted on either a wall or a counter (bracket and mounting hardware included). Housed in navy blue plastic, it measures 14-3/4 inches long and 4-1/4 inches wide and carries a one-year warranty against defects. --Fred Brack

This product is worthless & I would advise no one to buy this product. The battery did not last, and no manufacturer sells just the battery for replacement. Also, the charge will not hold for 20 minutes as stated in their product manual. This should be taken off the market & DeLonghi should stop false advertising!!!

I used to work at Electolux Home Products and the insiders tell me there is no reliable portable vac on the market. I didn't listen.

I bought at clearance centre and figured it was Delonghi and not Black & Decker, so I got it. For about a year, I thought differently, but then the battery died. What Customer Service I got , they said that you must drain battery and perform a full charge. Perhaps. When I did get a local accessory supplier, they informed that a replacement battery costs more than a new vac, it wasn't worth it.

Morale, Delonghi or no-name, portable vacs are disappointing.

The DeLonghi XM5080 wet/dry vacuum cleaner might look nice and has some noticeable suction power but if the battery wears out in a few months, its not worth it at all. The battery runs out of juice in a few months to a level it cannot even pick up small pieces of debris. I tried getting a replacement under the 1-yr warranty but couldn't. DeLonghi is not customer oriented.
