This is a fairly nice bat, especially for the price. It has good balance, a good grip, and a good sized sweet spot, but it does not have much pop at all. In fact, I am sorry to say it has the least pop of any bat I have used this season. If you are a singles hitter, it's good for lifting liners just past the infield, but it's a chore to hit much beyond that.

In fairness, I have to say that I have under 100 hits on this bat, but that's mostly because it hasn't shown any improvement as I have hit more with it.

I bought this for my weekly adult co-ed league as it was really inexpensive and a brand name. It is a fine bat as far as lower end bats go but just barely gets the job done. Not a bat I look forward to using as it does not have much pop but I also don't mind hacking away on it as bats will eventually dent or break. I am a decent hitter and rely on placement as much as distance. I am not the home run guy so I am okay with that. Using a composite bat compared to this one will lead to bat envy. Okay bat for the once in a while, one day a week D-league player. If you play in a few leagues a week or tournaments on the weekends this is not the bat for you.

This one took me about 6-700 cuts to break in but is now my perfect place hitting bat. Based on how it preformed throughout the season, I should get a few more out of it.

It's hard to rate a bat that is this cheap. You should know that it's not going to be the best bat. However, this bat is a good bat to have for batting practice to save hits off of a game bat. I wouldn't recommend using this bat in a game. There isn't much pop and the sweet spot is nonexistent. If you're looking to save hits off of an expensive bat, then this bat is a good purchase. If you're looking for a game bat with good pop, this bat isn't for you.
