My son-in-law is a rancher and needs a good work boot but he doesn't like steel toes. He loves these boots. I'd recommend them to anyone. If they can stand up under his type of work, they'd do well for anything.

These are some fine boots. Whatever you use them for, they are comfortable, well made, and tough. I'm usually not impressed when companies that do one thing well (like make power tools) branch into clothing or other things that are not directly related to their staple products. The results are usually sub-par. However, in this case DeWALT really got it right and made a pair of boots that is premium grade, and just as good as anything else on the market. The soles are fantastic and very comfortable. I tend to have narrower feet, so they feel a bit 'roomy' but that's fixed easily enough with a custom insole (which by the way are worth every penny. You spent half the day on your feet, might as well be as comfortable as possible!).

I'm impressed with the price, quality, and comfort of these boots. Well worth the purchase.
