Works Great, size matters!,

This review is from: DeWalt DC9091-2 14.4 Volt XRP 2.4 Amp Hour NiCad Pod Style Battery (Tools & Home Improvement)
Bought these to replace dying batteries. They work great. Only problem is, my drill and old batteries were in a hard case, and these new batteries are slightly larger than my original batteries, therefore, my case will not close. This will make transporting my drill much more difficult.

After ten years of service my old DeWalt XP battery packs lost their staying power .. 5 minutes after a recharge. I bought the new set of DeWalt XRP 14.4 batteries, charged them up with the old charger, plugged them into my now ten year old drill/driver and almost twisted my arm out of its shoulder socket on the first screw .. what power! The drill/driver now works like new.

They are a slightly larger form factor than the OEM batteries but for me this does not matter. Any of these batteries are expensive but they are good and they work well. I would recommend them. I have had them for a year or more and they work great still.
